When to Buy and Sell Bitcoin
Timing the markets is important in order to obtain maximum returns out of your investment. In pursuit of maximizing profits, people try all sorts of tips and tricks and learn Technical and Fundamental analysis.
Well, this post wouldn't be a difficult one to understand. Almost everyone who has been in the crypto space for more than a year would already be aware of the below mentioned points. However, only a few are able to implement it while trading Bitcoin. I think the bear market is about to get over and a bull market is just on the horizon so I thought of re-iterating the basics of trading Bitcoin so that you can be safe in the bear market and prepare yourself for the next Bull run.
When to Buy Bitcoin?
- 1 year before the halving event, next halving event will occur around 23rd May 2020.
- When Bitcoin has fallen 80-90% from all time high
- Mainstream media starts calling Bitcoin dead
- Institutions starts bashing Bitcoin
- When everyone starts believing that there will be a lower entry point for them to get in.
When to Sell Bitcoin?
- 1-1.5 years after halving event
- When Bitcoin does 2-5x on its previous all time high
- Mainstream media starts highlighting success stories of newly made Bitcoin Millionaires
- When everyone starts believing that this time it is for real, adoption is coming and this Bitcoin wave is not going to stop anytime soon.
- Google search results are at all time high
- When everyone around you starts talking about Bitcoin
- Exchanges have to halt new account registrations due to overwhelming demand
- Bitcoin fees is at its all time high
- After a parabolic rise of 4-5 weeks
- When random shitcoins starts giving 100-200% gains in a day
