Happy News Today from SatoshiSchool.

We think idea is working. We started just 14 days ago and today we have achieved it. After donation of 890 SBD from @skorek and collecting already 360 SBD we reach 1250 SBD which is exactly the 5000 dollars we needed for land in Cambodia.

Thanks to all you Steemians who are following and upvoting this project. We are the new way of precision giving help to the communities on the ground that most are in need. Those are the most vulnerable. Thanks again for supporting our projects.

Remember, it's started with this simple idea just few days ago, people says times flies. It's true. Sitting on the sunny beach was fun and learning process for me. Now I am back in Poland, just visit my mother. She lives in the middle of the oldest mountains in Europe. It's a very cold day down there, siberian arctic winds are blowing around. It's freezing cold. Opposite to what i felt just a week ago in the burning sun of Cambodia.

I am proud of Chancellor, the biggest thanks goes to him. He decide to donate his steempower, so i could try to realize my idea of SatoshiSchool.

If it's will only work? - he was saying in his asking voice three weeks ago.
It had work. It is working.

Filip is on the ground in Cambodia, he is moving this weekend to Kampot. We want to buy the land before the rain season. After the rain season we can start with clearing the land by locals and volunteers who we hope to find soon after that.

We had also great news from Holland. One teacher and his students from the Design Academy in Eindhoven will help to design the school buildings.

There is also a lot of good whenever i talk to people about SatoshiSchool, more and more people are offering their help and expertise. I am slowly seeing a big team of experts and enthusiasts moving next year to Cambodia. You are all welcome my Steemians, if you only want to offer your helping hands to our project.

Thanks everybody I am proud of you....

Nice presentation!

You know I'm not a fan of bidbots Matt @yabapmatt so now that you're presentation is shared by my buddy from the uni I have to to comment it in any case :-)

With regards to bidbots what I still miss on Steem is a clear differentiation between content and advertisement. On any other platform in the world ads need to be clearly marked as such, except on steemit.com. So that's something that has to be fixed quickly in the design of the User Interface.

I agree that paying for votes is an opportunity for content creators to make their posts more visible, but it's actually against the original vision of Steem according to that value is given to those who create value.

With votes being for sale, value is given to those who have the largest stakes, thus money will be kept in hands of very few. That's why these vote trading services won't contribute to effective growth in the long run.

Also there is a lack of control with regards to spam and copyright abuse. We talked about that already, Matt. @minnowbooster recently published a good strategy in that context, also @themarkymark is doing much efforts to reduce abuse. @steemcleaners can't assume the responsibility for any type of abuse on this platform, and we're all in charge to check the content we're upvoting - even if a bot is doing it on our behalf, and especially if our votes are able to boost content to the trending page where it's gonna be visible to thousands of users.

I'd love to see much more projects like @curie and @communitycoin for instance. They really help to promote quality and make content a priority of Steem. It seems that SMT Oracles will also contribute to that aim, that's at least what I get from Ned Scott's latest statements.

Promoting high quality content and using it as store sign for the Steem blockchain will be the only way to make the brand Steem become valuable in the space of decentralized content distribution.

That's at least my unimportant opinion about it :-)

oh..so good news.. thanks for sharing..
