A former top Manager of JP Morgan: Bitcoin is going digital gold
The fall in the value of the cryptocurrency can have a positive impact on the further development of the market, says Alex Gurevich
Bitcoin continues to develop, it becomes stronger and is getting closer to obtaining the status of digital gold, said former top Manager of a large Bank JPMorgan Alex Gurevich. He added that over time, the global infrastructure will develop, and the cryptocurrency will become more attractive as a means of exchange, in connection with which it will be able to take a leading position in the world economy, writes ChepiCap.
"Despite the UPS and downs of various altcoins, time still works for bitcoin, not against it," Gurevich believes.
Earlier the analyst of online trading platform IG Chris Buchen said that in the near future, investors will lose interest in bitcoin, and its value will fall even lower. At the same time, the founder of Fundstrat Tom Lee is confident in the long-term prospects of the first cryptocurrency, in his opinion, it can rise to $10 million in the next 10 years.
