RE: Bitconnect Reason for Crash

in #bitcoin7 years ago

It seems to me that if the U.S. Government would mind its own business BitConnect would still be operating just fine. I don't think they shut down because they were a ponzi scheme. I think they shut down because they made the mistake of operating in the U.S. and had no choice.

Sort:

I respect your opinion but I do disagree.

I believe we will continue to see these types of platforms come and go as we have so far. Even without government intervention they will continue to fall.

It reaches a point where the money stops flowing in and the first people to be protected from the crash will be the inner circle.

Time will tell.

We'll never know if this one would have succeeded or failed because the government shut it down. I wasn't invested in it but no one seems to be pointing any blame at the government for its role in shutting this down. Obviously the guys that ran it got threatened to be put in cages if they didn't shut it down.

You are right. The only threat was from two states ( to my knowledge). I do think they could have continued but chose to exit as they knew there was no future. Its easy for them to blame the government and say "well we would have continued but that damn USA". It had to end at some point.

Donald Trump: "Build That Wall" It's Brilliant and a win win for him and the party. The DNC will never approve to fund it. He gets the attention and following from those who want it built. All of the blame is put on the DNC for not funding it.

Bitconnect: We wanted to continue but they won't let us.

Yeah. Either way its a sad ending.

I agree with that!!
