Jaxx Wallet Vulnerability Puts Your Bitcoin At Risk — and They Won’t Fix
A newly-discovered vulnerability in the highly popular Jaxx cryptocurrency wallet puts the money of its users at great risk. Even more baffling is the fact that Jaxx told the public they wouldn’t fix the issue.

A blog post — tweeted by Riccardo “FluffyPony” Spagni, detailed how Vx Labs discovered the Jaxx vulnerability, as well as described how hackers could exploit the weakness:
“Even when your Jaxx has a security PIN configured, anyone with 20 seconds of (network) access to your PC can extract your 12 word backup phrase and copy it down. Jaxx does not have to be running for this to happen.”

This sort of attitude from Jaxx is alarming
Thanks for the post. I literally just installed the app on my phone, I may hold off on adding any currency to my wallet, especially if Jaxx is going react like this to an issue with their product.
Thats totally negligent in my view, I bet they will reverse their decision when someone looses a few hundred bitcoins and takes them to court.
