Launched three years ago as a section dedicated to innovation in health at iCEE.fest, iCEE.health brings together the entire eHealth ecosystem.
By including Lorena Macnaughtan, Director, in the HIMSS Europe Future50 community and the presence of Stanford Medicine X with a dedicated stage at the festival, iCEE.health is recognized as one of the major European events and impact on health innovation.
"HIMSS Europe Future50 are the ones we need to be careful to see the future of health today. They influence the potential of digital health to improve health for all of us. "
This year, iCEE.health takes place on June 14, the first day of iCEE.fest in Bucharest, Grand Cinema & More, and here are just a few reasons why players in the medical system, the farm and the medtech technologies will be there:
1.Clinic and Hospital of the Future
• Ksenia Benifard brings the experience she has gained to the Alberta Health Canada, a masterclass, delivered with Simona Ralph (co-founder of Canada's first Healthcare Innovation Center, Canada)
• Michael Seres, 11Health, an entrepreneurial patient and one of the most acclaimed voices in health innovation, will present a solution that is as useful to patients, doctors and nurses both in the hospital and at home.

  1. The latest trends in health: AI, VR, Blockchain
I can not miss artificial intelligence (Jordi Serrano Pons, Universal Doctor), human-machine interaction (Horia Maior, Mixed Reality Lab), blockchain (Bogdan Cioc, LiveHelix).
  2. On the recipe, a digital solution
    • Diane Jooris, OnComfort, brings to iCEE.health the only virtual reality solution certified CE as a medical software for pain and anxiety.
    • Eugene Borukhovici will talk about what this paradigm shift means for the health and the farm industry.
    • Treatments, and especially prevention, will be supported by digital interventions. Michael Fergusson will show that the games are healthy. Using gaming principles, Michael has developed medical interventions that have proven effective, and so his company, Ayogo, has been listed for two years in the most innovative eHealth rankings.
  3. In digital health, without taboos
At iCEE.health, health is approached without prejudice, because in these areas there are fantastic opportunities for innovation.
Shawna Butler, an absolute star in the health innovation world, part of the Explorential Medicine @ Singularity University and Cancer XPRIZE teams, will talk about issues that are very relevant to health, but rarely addressed by the medical system, such as: sexual life, stigma associated with some diseases , the stress of caring for a sick person and how they represent great opportunities for eHealth.
Shawna will also talk about many startups that have the mission of supporting women's health. Shawna will not be the only one to address the social factors that massively determine health and digital innovation, but also Jaco Oosthuizen, Jeffrey Sparr, Tom Wilson, Ksenia Benifard, and Tedy Necula.
  4. It was Big Date and in health
Medicine will change for everyone by generating and sharing personal data.
    • A workshop on patient involvement, which is extremely relevant in the GDPR era, is provided by experts at Stanford Medicine X: Justin Lai, MPH, Health Services Designer (among projects, the White House for Science and Technology and Policies, Eli Lilly and US State Department for Human Services and Health), and Sylvie Dobrota, Associate Researcher.
    • Of course we will also talk about genomics (Pepita Stringer, Horizon Digital Economy Institute), interoperability (Gurhan Zincircioglu, HIMSS Europe), GDPR (Cristian Deca, eHealth Hub and Decalex) and security (Alexandru Balan, BitDefender)
  5. The future is happening today in health in Romania
    • Dr. Florina Pinte, Medlife, presents the first holographic intervention surgery in Romania.
    • Christian Rosedth, Janssen, talks about the most important Hackathon health in CEE, held in Bucharest at the end of last year.
    • Like every year, we will also have a Romanian session, where we will be presented with many new models of medical services that put patients at the forefront.
iCEE.health 2018 takes place in Bucharest on June 14th. See the agenda here, for the main scene, Focus 2, and the scene with applied sessions, Focus 4.
