Bitcoin Faucets: The Original Crypto Money Scheme

With all this talk of pump and dumps, bitconnect, hacking, and shady ICO's it seems like many have forgotten about something that seems to still be there under everyone's radar: faucets. The title of this article says bitcoin faucets but I'm generally talking about any faucets. It just seems like bitcoin faucets are the most widely known.

The problem I have with faucets is that they make absolutely no sense to me. Unlike many of these other shady things in crypto like Chaincoin which at least promise people huge returns on their investment the faucets promise almost nothing and some of them can't even deliver on that. So why do I see faucets still pop up from time to time? Let's take a famous faucet for example: FreeBitco.in. Currently their base reward is .00000061 BTC. That's a wopping 2/10 of a cent.

You can claim on this site once every hour. So if you never went to sleep and you got all 24 clicks a day you would be racking in .00001464 BTC a day or 4.8 cents a day. I don't care how dire your situation is, there's a billion other ways to make more money in the world. There's a billion other fucking ways to make more money on the internet.

"But wait Stallahassee, your criticizing sites that give you FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MOOOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEYYYYYY". To that, my answer is: Bitch, ain't yo momma eva tell you dat nothn in life is free.

In all seriousness, faucets are seriously not free. In fact, they are incredibly expensive. Instead of wasting your life clicking on some site for a fraction of a cent, you could be learning a skill, making a hell of a lot more money, having fun, or maybe even make your own faucet and get some suckers into coming to your scam of a site and wasting their life.

However, there is one silver lining to faucets, and that is their referral system. Many of these sites give you up to 50% on every referral click's earnings. So if you really want to want to make some money on these sites get an army of retards to sign up using your referral link and then maybe you can start making a respectable salary for a sweat shop worker. It might even go up to a solid $5 a day.
