Why Crypto folks are so Emotional and always Angry?

in #bitcoin6 years ago (edited)

Yesterday I tweeted an article from Independent:

https://twitter.com/Super_Crypto/status/1056041549325197312

Apparently, it says that BCash may replace Bitcoin in the future. I say "apparently" because I did not read this post and I haven't read it EVEN NOW. This is because whatever trash media writes dose not matter to me (and should not matter to you too.)

People take everything personally and emotionally

There was such an emotional response to this tweet that someone unfollowed & blocked me saying why did I write the title in capital? OMG!! 😊 😊 I simply copy and paste from the web and tweet in 5 seconds available to me. Am I supposed to make it small letters before tweeting so your emotions are not hurt? Really??

Someone asked if I have been hacked? 😊

and this 😊 😊

Why these things hurt the community so much?

Its time for they Crypto community to wrap their heads around the reality

  1. Not everyone is going to write all nice posts about Bitcoin and Crypto in general. There are going to be people airing critical views that we may not like. Get used to it!!!

  2. Facts and Truth are relative concepts in the mundane world. The thing that is "Truth" for me can be "garbage" for others. Understand it!!!

  3. People representing 500 year old financial institutions are scared of Bitcoin and they are going to be anti-Crypto. Don't get mad at them!!! Have a sympathy towards them because they are scared. Be aware, they are just trying to protect their age old system that is going to collapse eventually.

  4. Today's large Newspapers are eventually going to die. At the same time we should be aware that they reach millions of people who don't know much about Bitcoin and Crypto in general. It is necessary that crypto community understands how these things work and play their cards accordingly.

Same goes about people like Nouriel Roubini

They represent financial elite. Bitcoin represents people's money and it goes directly against their age old system. He is going to be anti-Bitcoin eternally. This is a fact and crypto folks should get used to it. He is doing his job and there is no need to get mad at him for doing his duty.

Here are few things we need to do as a community

  1. Understand that everyone has freedom to express their opinion and those who are scared are going to react exactly like that.
  2. Understand psychology of the anti-crypto crowd.
  3. Be open and ready to make the changes on valid suggestions.

Finally: Life is temporary, Just let it Go!!

Keep eyes and ears open. Let's try to learn instead of getting mad at every opinion that we read on the internet that we don't agree with.

Bitcoin will win the race. Give it time!!!

Life is an Ocean, Ignore the waves and you will be lot more peaceful!!!

This is mostly due to lack of self control in their own lives. "Ignore the FUD and you will be lot more peaceful" works too XD
