Bitcoin Cash attack started Is BitPicoCash coming? Roger Ver'e Bad News, Does the BCH Come to an End?
BitPico "Bitcoin can be expressed as a test group consisting of developers, miners and whales." Known to test the Lightning Network in the past, the band now targets Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
BitPico, who did not disclose the identity of the group members, announced that he had been testing the Lightning Network on a Twitter post he shared on June 22. The team, which has tested Lightning through a coordinated attack on the implementation of the main network, will now attack the BCH network. This time the team will use the type of attack we've heard lately, 51%.
BitPico's tweet on this subject includes the following statements:
The Bitcoin Cash attack has begun and will continue for the next few months. We expect to reach 5000 Bcash attack nodes in about six weeks. Then we will apply multiple forks in the chain of the network.
This will make Roger Ver cry.
BitPico has gained a reputation in the past through the Bitcoin network scaling solution SegWit2x. However, when the plans were canceled due to the reduced support given to the hard fork, the group was almost silent. BitPico later returned to the scene in March when we passed the Lightning Network test.
BitPico's tweet that comes after months includes the following statements:
We did not end our bitcoin adventure, we just need a cardi. We're like bombs and we're working on the Lightning Network.
On the other hand, SegWit2x seems to have overcome all the problems that Bitcoin has in the process of being canceled. Increasing adoption of SegWit reduced the high fees on the Bitcoin network to reasonable levels again. In addition, the deadlines for transactions have been shortened considerably.
Is BitPicoCash coming?
Despite the improvements in the Bitcoin network, Bitcoin Cash advocates are not backing down. Most BCH lovers continue to defend that altcoin is superior to Bitcoin. Defenders who claim that the capacity of the blocks on the BCash network have been upgraded to 32 megabytes, are responding to criticism from many platforms.
BitPico's last test on the Lightning Network received a lot of user feedback. The test that the group plans to perform seems to prove first and last whether everyone is really useful to Bitcoin Cash.
BitPico has the following statements about this issue:
We do not expect Bitcoin Cash guys to realize how easy it is to break their networks.
BitPico also criticizes the BCH for testing itself. The BCH community, which conducted an internal testing, was accused of being "centralized and controlled" and "not reflecting the truth".
BitPico's team has reported that Bitcoin Cash has received a series of derogatory statements ranging from defenders to "death threats." However, apparently, Ekib is determined to attack 51% of the Bitcoin Cash network. The famous test group claiming to place the BCH network in place will testify that they will give life to "BitPicoCash" by applying a hard fork on the network. BitPico's Bitcoin Cash attack was also created on GitHub.
Bitcoin Cash, a result of a hard fork on the Bitcoin network, has become a controversial issue among crypto-money users. Many crypto enthusiasts, especially Roger Ver, argue that BCH is superior to Bitcoin. Roger Ver, who is often known to make BCH propaganda through Bitcoin.com, is often subject to harsh criticism. These discussions coming out in the community can bring to mind the words "to go out of the egg and not like the crust" in our Turkish people.
If BitPico's plans are met, BCH will become another Bitcoin for 51% attack. Bitoin Gold (BTG) network has come to this kind of attack. In order to prevent such an attack on BTG, hard fork is going on.
