Max Keizer: The phenomena of altcoin are over and all value will flow to Bitcoin

Bitcoin's enthusiastic American radio broadcaster Max Keizer has suggested that the price recovery of the criptomoeda will not include the altcoins in a recent interview with CNBC

Keizer said that with the development of criptomoeda space and the adoption of Segregate Witness (Segwit) and the Lightning protocol, people began to better understand the value store that bitcoin offers, as well as the scale that will happen out of the chain. This, according to Keizer, will cause criptomoedas owners to transfer their funds back to "the safest chain" that, according to him, is bitcoin.

Keizer also projected that the altcoins will be quoted in cents or even eliminated, because "all that money will flow into bitcoin." He argued that with the current dominance of bitcoin 60% - which Keizer supposes could go to 80% -90% - demonstrates that "the altcoin phenomenon is over," he said.

Recently, veteran trader and author Peter Brandt has predicted that bitcoin will continue to grow, but the altcoins will not feel the benefits. Brandt said that, unlike the previous bullish cycle of the market in 2017, bitcoin gains would not have a similar effect. He summed it up: "Criptomancians expect this move to happen again - but they may be very disappointed."

At the end of June, ThinkMarkets chief market analyst Naeem Aslam predicted that bitcoin will hit somewhere between $ 60,000 and $ 100,000 during the next high-end round. He argues that by reaching $ 20,000, the discussion will shift from conservative estimates of overcoming the historical maximum of the crypto-currency, to forecasts of $ 50,000; from there, the $ 50,000 drop will raise the price target to $ 100,000.
