as you see my friend the prices of the STEEMIT are falling down sharply and i hope that the community #steem devloppers #witness and #steemit blogers will react immediately to save and solve the issue or i think to make the prices refresh again will much more difficult one of the issues that i have seen while checking market is a yellow message from Polonix that says
"STEEM is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the STEEM team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling."

and which means that there is a real problem right here :(

we can still use block trades if needed, price may fall more and more, maybe to 20 000 or 17 000 satoshis before recovering. some people come some leave thats all.

the @blocktrades prices are based on the other markets to get you the best price so if the price of the SBD/STEM from all the market places go down what do you think will happens ????? @tournego

The good news is you can still sell your Steem via Blocktrades.

😂 😂 😂

Steem was. .07 a few months ago we are 1700% up so we can drop all the way down there is no telling. Also look at golos . I'm not worried what happens with steem because I think it will survive . Though there are many suckers . That kept all the coins only in steem power and have watched this massive bitcoin bull run and have sat there helpless. There are people here with 10 or 20 accounts with coins spread out telling you to keep powering up to keep buying more on one account ,and then selling with there other accounts! Beware and don't invest more that you are willing to lose. This is coming from a 13 year old ! This is my opinion and not do I hope I'm wrong! Also I'm not allowed to cash out till I graduate university . That in 2026. By that point I'll have a fortune or I'll have nothing but for sure I'll have an experience that 99.9 percent of all youth has not had . Steem on and remember only invest what you can afford to lose.

i like your point of view @richard-921 and i respect you for making your own decision in a world where we are all programmed to do what they wanted us to do Richard your age tall is just 13 years but with a weight of a wise man

Thanks my dad is my guide so far. Remember one thing it's all rigged centralized or decentralized. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose

Yeah, that's kind thoughts. What about golos? Are you also there?

I think it can go WAY lower before it takes off again...

thanks for the update i just went and took advantage and bought 50 steem

🤑 🤗 🤓 😎

Which makes it a great opportunity to invest. Buy the dip guys

most cryptos are down right now but I predict they will correct in the net 24 hours and they will be gaining value for a few hours after that. then bitcoin will rise using other alt coins as a stepping stool. Bitcoin may reach 4,000.

there is a problem in steemit blockchain @alot-of-lore

ummmm, why because some hearsay from poloniex?

I don't understand what you want the developers or other people to do, what is the goal and how would they go about achieving their goal?

A STEEM witness is a person whom operates a witness server (which produces blocks), and publishes a price feed of STEEM/USD to the network.

Witnesses have many tasks. The first and foremost is to produce blocks (thus process transactions), the second most important is to produce a price feed, which is how STEEM Dollars are always worth 1 US Dollar in STEEM (using the 7 day exchange).
@baah

That's great, what does that have to do with either of my questions?

ahhh i see. thanks, I didnt know.

It's time to correcting.. soon time for steem

First off, always follow the #1 rule of investing: Never Invest More Money Than You Can Afford To Loose. Why? It's simple: losing too much money puts anybody into a negative emotional state of mind; which effects your ability to make good decisions. No worries means no stress when it comes to decision-making.

You seem worried about the price going down. It was .80 cents around the time of the BTC hardfork - and it's still quite a bit higher than that right now.

When the price drops, I just look at it as an opportunity to buy more. That way, when the price goes back up again, I have more tokens, and multiply my profits.

Buy low, sell high. No worries. You must make your moves at the correct time. If you need the money right away, maybe you have too much invested?

everyone has his own strategy @bi5h0p ;)

True, but it's a good idea to always be refining your strategy. Just trying to stimulate some conversation. Once I make enough cryptos to take some profits, I'm adding it to my stack of physical silver - being my own bank. That's what it's all about, IMHO.

Poloniex has been having "issues" for a while now. I much prefer Bittrex.

The STEEM team could be the problem but don't always believe what an exchanges tells you. Poloniex have, in my opinion, had issues for a while now which they have failed to address. This could be one of them but don't want to admit it.

maybe but we need an explanation from the team itself @ryanrenolds
