Crypto Market Cap Excluding BTC - Charting The Future
So right now there's 4782 different cryptos, 4762 of them are only 9% of the total capitalization.
BTC is 66% of the total crypto cap.
The top 20 cryptos (excluding BTC) is 27% of the total capitalization.
The top 20 icluding BTC is 93% of the total market capitalization.
I'm always wondering how this cryptocurrency system is going to turn out. As long as the price stays in the channels below, we could see an outcome that will be awe inspiring.
I also suspect that the price of cryptos go well beyond the most bullish case.
BTC might not go to a million or perhaps it will.
This is what's going through my mind over the last couple of days.
The debt based system is world wide.
Every currency unit out there is equal to one unit of debt.
World GDP is around 80 to 90 Trillion
World debt is (depending on the source) about 188 trillion to almost 400 trillion.
Derivatives of all this debt is (depending on the source) about 500 trillion to 1.5 quadrillion USD.
What I'm looking at in the total market cap is the top 20 coins excluding BTC.
The reason for this is the fact that this is the group of coins that's going to power the world.
The top 20 coins (excluding BTC) is 27% of the total market cap and when the market peaks will be inverted to 60 - 70%.
I suspect a total market cap of around 24 trillion USD at the peak with BTC being about a third of this value.
The big money makers are the Alt coins in the top 20 or the odd top 100 coins making up to the top 20 -30 coins.
Sounds crazy, however, not impossible.
99% of these coins are going to fail....... the big question is.......... which coins are going to be the winners?
