TWINS weekly report: TWINS touches 25 sats, CoinMarketCap listing and Fix.Network progress
In this article I will cover the major updates and progress of win.win project in the last week. This is in continuation to my earlier weekly TWINS report.
This week we saw TWINS going further down to 25 sats, CoinMarketCap website updated the TWINS supply and some improvements in the win.win website. On the other hand a lot has been happening on the other New Capital endorsed project called Fix.network, this will also be covered in this article.
About win.win project
Aim of the win.win project is to create a truly decentralized exchange platform with cross-chain atomic-swaps capabilities to facilitate the direct transacting of value between network users. There will be no fees for the direct peer-to-peer exchanges, as these transactions are performed directly between user wallets. Since transactions will take place directly between user wallets without the involvement of any third party, there will be no fee for these exchanges.
The TWINS cryptocurrency will be used to power the exchange platform for buy and sell order listings and to reward the community-supported and decentralized hosting of network nodes.
Weekly progress
TWINS Prices falls further
It has been almost 3 weeks now when TWINS saw any major update/news from the team. This has resulted into the hype being subdued and this is evident in the TWINS continuous fall. This week we saw TWINS touches 25 sats after a long time, rather first time after it crossed 50 sats initially.
Although, in my opinion this should not be an area of concern for long term investors. because-
Team is honest and transparent with their working. They have made it clear from the day one, that they do not care about the market prices. They will make an announcement when they have something substantial to share, not for the sake of it.
Team is working very hard not only on win.win project but also on the fix.network, which is also going to be a huge project some day.
Part of the TWINS prices is due to the working of the exchanges on which TWINS is listed. p2pb2b requires KYC for all, thus bitsane is preferred over by the users. while on bitsane there is a hidden feature which let the users put theur buy/sell orders in hidden mode, which is not shown in the order book. thus the current orderbook does not explains the actual demand and supply of twins, which my result in price not being improved when there is demand.
No. of master nodes are increasing day by day. The % of coins locked in TWINS MN is above 80% , which one of the highest in all MN projects.
For all the above reasons, the current price of TWINS do not justify its value.
CoinMarketCap listing
Till now, TWINS was although listed on CMC, it did not show its current supply. Thus TWINS was also not visible in the crypto rankings. Recently, CMC has updated the TWINS supply.
Masternode
Another week and no of TWINS master node is increasing day by day. Last week in my weekly report I mentioned that TWINS has crossed 700 mark and today as of writing we had 778 masternodes. which is absolute phenomenal. In just one week TWINS masternodes increased by 75 which is a huge number.
win.win website update
win.win website was updated recently which includes some graphical improvements. There are some animations now which improves the looks. Check out the new website look here- https://win.win/
Fix.Network Project updates
Fix Network is a project being supported by New Capital who are aiming to store the Private keys on users standard sim cards, never exposing users’ private keys.
This week saw a healthy discussion on the fix project and a lot of information was shared with us by Edwin Terek on Discord. Here I will summarize them for easy understanding-
There has been a good progress on Fix.network project. Although, there is no set deadline for its launch. Edwin mentioned that they are ready for the launch but want to wait for the phase 1 of the TWINS completed first.
Fix.Network will have its own blockchain infrastructure with masternodes, similar to TWINS. WEFIX token will power this infrastructure.
Fix Network will also have different stages, like win win project. In stage 3 Masternodes will process transactions, but also serve as decentralised database of rules, API gateways and more.
Team wants to launch with atleast 500 Nodes, and that too 500 owners.
There is no plan of selling the initial tokens, and these will be allocated to users who pre ordered the SIM cards. Thats a good thing and everyone will have a chance to own a Fix master node at the launch.
Soon, they will open the SIM pre-orders and the payment can be made by TWINS or wire transfers. More details are awaited on this.
FIX sim cards can be used for data roaming in as much as 172 countries and The team is well prepared for it. I believe they are going to use the services of DIDWW, which is also a project which EDWIN terek started way back (damn this team is deep and huge)
FIX mobile (virtual) network will be using Monogoto's exiting infrastructure and roaming agreements to provide connectivity for FIX sim cards. These sim cards will have no monthly or per transaction cost with the retail price of 49 EUR, users will get unlimited signature transactions with global coverage.
Edwin commented on the relation of both win.win project and FIX.Network:
"Both protocols are built with the goal to be implemented into crypto wallets. The adoption of the protocols will totally depend on crypto wallet app developers, and they may have reasons to follow different path. Our go-to-market strategy for both protocols relies on strategic partnerships, and "wallet app" project. We can't release the platforms yet, but we can focus on building the wallet app and making sure it will take a major share in the crypto wallet market.FIX SIMs will be able to store private keys for TWINS, but also for any other coin. The password-less access will be possible to the wallet app, and of course the win.win DEX (inside the wallet app). But it will also allow access to any other service. Imagine the word when you don't need to remember any username or password when using your online services and your user ID is your phone number. "
I have tried to kept is short here, because the article mainly caters to TWINS project. I will write another article soon which will cater to FIX.Netwrok developments.
That’s it, another impressive week for TWINS. Thank you.
