I was an early adopter of Bitcoin back in 2011 (earlier than most people). Bitcoin and blockchain technology have changed the world forever. I no longer see long-term value in Bitcoin. I say this because our community cannot agree on beneficial updates/implementations/changes to the Bitcoin software. We will continue to experience forks and it not only dilutes the market, but it splits up the community. If we want to talk about value look at Litecoin, Monero, Xspec, and Zcash. Decentralization, privacy, transaction speed, mining profitability, and the ability to solve a problem are the factors that I look at when investing in cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin solved the double-spending problem, but this is no longer important as all viable cryptocurrencies have this in addition to the factors I listed above. I enjoy conversing with fellow cryptocurrency fans and am eager to always learn more, share my insight, and connect on my ideas as well as other peoples.
Yeah I agree with not seeing long term value in Bitcoin. The transaction fee and confirmation time problem seems to be going no where. The Bitcoin community can't come to any conclusion on the solution for the issue and we are just getting bunch of forked coins that has no future. Some forks are just outright scams. People will starting losing faith in Bitcoin if this keeps going on.
yeah but bitcoin will become better when lighting network live just need more time for better network, community is working hard all over the world. i still believe bitcoin, brand is the thing not just everyone can easily change.
