Bitconnect is back and turns out they are not ponzi ?
Bitconnect just posted that only negative accounts will be suspended.
They mentioned,
During the latest website issues as reported earlier the accounts that have been found to have no problems will be given access and be activated. The account holders that have been benefited from the latest glitch whether intentionally or unintentionally will be allowed access on the 30th of August 2017, 5 pm GMT to clear their negative balances.
On the 30th of August, those members that have negative balances will be allowed 5 days to clear these negative amounts. Those members that get their accounts back to normal within the 5 days will be activated and the members that do not clear the negative balance will be suspended permanently.
Consequently, we are now only suspending the accounts that have negative balances and those accounts that are associated with the members that have negative balances.
NB: Account holders that do not clear the negative balances within the 5 days stipulated will have their data published on the platform.
In the meantime, the negative account holder's details will be sent to the respective one structure promoters to recover the funds.

We at Bitconnect would also like to announce that if any member is not comfortable with the security of platform they are free to terminate their membership at any time.

Whaaaat?????
Everybody understands that there are risks associated with cryptocurrency models and is largely built on the trust of the members. Bitcoin has gained value over the years because the trust in the currency has grown from the community. Here at Bitconnect, it is the same and we have no plans to stop providing services or closing down the operations. Bitconnect is still alive because our community has trust in our services and the value of Bitconnect.
There have been numerous support requests from members who doesn't know about Bitcoin and we are requesting Bitconnect community to guide and educate these members about the basics of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
In order for us to attend all the pending support requests we have disabled the support system to clear all the requests from our members.
Due to this latest glitch that we have experienced, we have decided to have planned maintenance once a month over a weekend to check the security and performance parameters of the platform. We are also considering to provide job opportunities in different areas of support for the platform.
Once again we apologies to all our members about the glitch on the platform and are excited about the latest developments to improve our services and opportunities to our members.
So what do you guys think about all this?
Free to terminate your membership at any time, does that mean we can get our investments back? I'm guessing no.
