Crypto derivatives exchange BitMEX today announced that it has entered into a partnership with Eventus Systems, which will help it monitor trading and prevent money laundering.

"This collaboration is an important part of our mission to ensure a safe trading environment," BitMEX writes. " by integrating Eventus Systems technology into existing processes for tracking trades and preventing money laundering, we will be able to more effectively detect intruders and improve preventive monitoring of unauthorized trading activity on the BitMEX platform."

BitMEX compliance Director Malcolm Wright noted that The exchange intends to continue developing its legal compliance initiatives and set standards for other industry participants. He also mentioned the user verification program, which required BitMEX customers to confirm their identities by November 5.

"Eventus has extensive experience not only in working with digital asset exchanges, but also in the traditional Finance sector," Wright said.

In early October, BitMEX was harassed by the us authorities, who accused It of violating the law on Bank secrecy and other requirements. Subsequently, the exchange's management, including CEO Arthur Hayes, resigned.
