Bitshares - Do you Have some Open.Steem stacked and Can't Withdraw it because Openledger has Steem Wallet on Maintenance? - Here is the Solution - Trade your Open.Steem to Rudex.Steem
Hi Steemit Community,
I had some open.Steem stack on my bitshares.org wallet and wanted to bring it to my Steem wallet, so as to Power Up, and since the open.Steem wallet of Openledger is on maintenance for around a month or so, I was not able to do it.
So, after researching and making some tests, I found the solution.
Trade pairs of open.STEEM to rudex.STEEM
If we have open.Steem on the Bitshares wallet, and want to withdraw it to our Steem Wallet (On Steemit or any working app of the Steem Blockchain), here are the steps to do it.
We need to put the 2 trading pairs on the URL of the Exchange. The way I found to do it is via a web browser. In this case I used: https://bitshares.openledger.info/market/OPEN.STEEM_RUDEX.STEEM
[Note the last part of the URL: OPEN.STEEM_RUDEX.STEEM ]Login with your bitshares account and password via the browser (as always take your security measures to avoid anyone stealing your passwords).
Once logged in and on the exchange section with the pairs, you just enter the Steem amount, price, and the system will show the total you will receive in Rudex.Steem.
Once the transaction is done, you can close the browser, and log with your normal desktop wallet, or you can continue with the browser dex and you will now see you have rudex.STEEM, instead of open.STEEM.
Since the Rudex Steem gateway is working, you can use the Withdraw function by choosing Rudex as the Gateway.
Once in the Rudex Gateway, you choose Steem, and then click on Withdraw.
Finally we enter the amount and Steem account name, and after clicking Withdraw, our transaction is processed.
Hope this is Helpful for many of you as it was for me Today!
