What if in BitShares 3.0... ?
With the recent rise in the price of BTS and the new regarding EOS, i think it would be interesting to think about how we could make BitShares better for when we integrate EOS.
Whilst i am not suggesting no development is going on, i am suggesting that with a plump development budget now we should get together, devise a specific plan, hire some additional devs and make our DEX the best it can be for when we integrate EOS rather than 'waiting for the crypto market to discover us'.
- Redesign the BitShares website.
I think the bitshares website could do a better job of conveying what bitshares is and how to get started. Its a complicated thing, but i think the front page should convey all the basic user/investor needs to look at. When i look at Munro, DASH and Bitcoin its a very clear and simplified message with links to the blockchain explorer for example. I think we should try and emulate that.
- A phone app for iphone/andriod
Most people are using their phone at least 50% of the time to browse. I think it would be worthwhile developing a basic phone application for BitShares.
- Improve the UI for the DEX
We should be the largest stakeholder in EOS in my opinion. We are the founding entity and i think we should claim our rightful stake and not be left behind. I think we should take some of the feedback regarding the UI and try and make it the best it can possibility be. When i was reading the EOS telegram, i still read that people dislike / are confused on the UI design. There was a recent post of steem regarding a user who was confused about sending money and i think our 'help' section in the DEX could be more complete/better.
With the rise in price we should have the funds available to fund things like this. We need to keep improving things in this rapidly changing environment as quickly as possible.
