Exodus is charging me $20 to transfer small amount of bitcoin.

Holy bejeezus.

I have heard that transaction fees have been very high all-around this week with SO much activity in the markets, and saw the last one I sent from Exodus was $4-5, but that is just crazy...

Will be interesting to see how fast fees drop back down again as segwit is introduced, if that is really supposed to facilitate the scaleability problems at root of the high fees...

What does this segwit do actually? If you dont mine :)

to be honest, I don't know enough technical details to answer that. all I know is its a fairly significant change to the protocol that's supposed to make a big difference in the scaleability issues.

Me too, Im gonna need several sacks of rice before I can fully understand the technicalities of bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies :)

several sacks of rice...??

lol. must be some Filipino slang.

Yeah, it means, it could takes time :)
