Persistence of mind 🧠 The impossible collision 💧

in #blackandwhite6 years ago

"THE PHOTO..."

...that almost drove me mad...

After a few months of continuous photographing water drops collisions, I made the idea of the photo, a reality.

The idea was simple
Make a photo of a collision on top of a existing collision. Basically, collision on collision. Simple, but, it was all about the timing, precise timing... OK, I just took my camera and set up the whole thing. I know it, I wouldn't get it in the first shot, but this took me to the limits...

How many tries did It take ?
It would be just a ridiculous number, if I know it. What I can tell you is, that I took me over two months, three times ( something more) per week for the 4 hours. Doing the same thing over and over again.... 😱

As you know, I have a little bit of persistence and patience, but this was almost too much. The first weeks of shooting was going ok, as always...
But, when I tried all the options and started to repeat myself, after some time, I feeled that,
I was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result...
( Albert Einstein's, definition of crazy )

"How hard can it be?"

POINT BEING
Because of the micro changes ( settings of a millisecond ), that I always made the progress wasn't visible, but every try, every photo, that I made, lead to this impossible creation. 👍

NO MATTER, HOW MAD THE IDEA IS, IF YOU BELIEVE AND STAY IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND, YOU CAN MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE, POSSIBLE!

I hope you enjoy the photo and if you are excited to see more amazing footage, don't forget to follow me👍

Till next time...
