Visa are searching for Blockchain engineers.

Hello once again fellow steemers.

Are we in Blockchain bubble? Is this the future? The fact is that no one knows for sure. Many people are positive about the future of Blockchains and Visa seem to be one of them. Visa are searching for a Blockchain / Ethereum engineer.

Reponsibilities will include:

• Lead several unique Blockchain initiatives
• Direct client and business exposure
• Write code
• Work on blockchain POCs
• Monitor blockchain technologies.
• Maintain firm’s relationship with the Hyperledger initiative.

The engineer will be working on building a new payment rail leveraging Blockchain technology and distributed ledger. Visa are building this technology for business to business banking but it is great to see big companies trying to harness the power of the blockchain.

The job advertisement mentions several unique blockchain initiatives as one of the candidates responsibilities. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings.
