🔔 EN - Coinomi: a multi-wallet that doesn't look like any other!

This article is a translation of the version I wrote here in French. I am not anglophone and mistakes may be present, I am sorry ...

It's been a few years since I've been using a handy wallet for Android, called Coinomi. Indeed, it is an application to store its cryptocurrencies with a rather wide choice of these, an interface with careful sobriety, a simplistic use, and implemented very interesting functions.

Ergonomics

As you can see with an example on the Ethereum, the declension of the screen of a wallet is made up of 3 pages whose tabs are: receive, balance, send.
The first one presents the QR code of your address in order to make you scan, the second list the transaction history (here not synchronized for not dragging my history that looks only at ^^'), and the third allows you to scan and send your cryptomony, indicating a sum to be drawn from the portfolio, or else a sum in €/$, the conversion of which will take place instantaneously at the instant of time T.
It is clean, refined, the only flat will reside in the small advertisement of the tab "balance" which is however not embarrassing. In addition, the application integrates an address book to save the keys of friends and / or companies with which you exchange for more simplification.

A wide range of choices for your currencies

This application is called a mutliwallet. Indeed, it offers you a wide choice of currencies such as: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, etc. The small asset is that it also allows to choose less known wallet such as Verge, Fujicoin, Einsteinium and others. The Steem is not yet of the game but according to what I read, it should arrive shortly :)
As for tokens (based on Ethereum's ability to develop digital tokens), much of it is available from the application. All you have to do is go on your Ethereum wallet with a 4th tab (look at the gif above!). This tab called dApps allows you to integrate a large selection of tokens, and if it is not present, you can add it manually;) I also add that you can have several separate wallet for the same currencies, and add labels.

Currency conversion

You have two world-renowned opportunities to swap your corners. Indeed, Shapeshift and Changelly are part of the game!
Where it's well designed, just choose the start and finish currencies, and that's it. The software is responsible for the receipt on the relevant wallet. No need to bother to copy and paste the keys, and for me, it's a + for comfort!

Security

As soon as the application is downloaded, you will be asked to create a password. This will be useful to confirm each outbound transaction. In addition, a mnemonic pass phrase (you know: "pizza forest bird stadium ..." that you must keep in a closet: it is your master key to manage all your wallet, so if you lose your phone can recover your cryptocurrencies from another smartphone by entering this code into the application.

My conclusion

A must have that can help enormously, and a very good competitor of Jaxx :) In addition, coinomi allows you to scan a paper wallet. Hoping you were succinct and helpful ...
