SCAM ALERT !!! Laxmi Coin People are Threatening me | Check the Post and See their Engagements

in #blockchain7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemians,

I am writing this post today to let you guys know about an incident that happened to me recently. I made a post about Fake Laxmi Coin 6 Months ago.

It all started when we get the news all over the internet that Indian Government announced LaxmiCoin which will be a fiat based cryptocurrency with the stable value of INR. After few days I came across a website https://laxmicoin.trade which is not working at this moment.

Before 6 Months, when it was in working condition, This website was claiming to be a government-backed pre-sale of laxmicoin and was misleading people by charging them 3.5 INR each coin.

I did my research on the website and posted my findings accordingly along with screenshots to let people know, whats going on and not to invest in this scam.

It was more of an awareness post for my fellow Steemians. I do this every time I find anything suspicious.

You can check my previous post from the following link.

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bunnychum/scam-alert-fake-laxmicoin-launch-beware-of-this-website

Last week, I was contacted on Facebook by a person (not revealing the name) claiming to be working in LaxmiCoin and forcing me to delete that post. I somehow made him understand about #Steemit that I don't have any option to edit or delete my previous posts since it's based on blockchain technology. (It was quite stupid for me to make a person understand how blockchain works, especially when that person is already working in a company working on blockchain itself.) Anyways that person was generous enough to understand it was not in my hands at all.

The second person, who contacted me on Facebook for the same reason is named "Amartya Singh". He directly sent a message to me by saying "You have only 5 days to accept your mistake."

Amartya Singh's Facebook Profile URL: https://www.facebook.com/amartyasingh.as & Screenshot:

I tried to make him understand the same thing but he kept on pressuring me to make another post on #steemit about LaxmiCoin by saying that my last post was a misunderstanding.

Below are the screenshots of my Facebook Chat with this person:

After all this chat, I went to the website he mentioned "https://www.laxmicoin.com". And found things very interesting. I read their whitepaper which, I personally found very misleading for their investors.

They are talking about mobile mining on CryptoNote Algorithm (Accroding to their Whitepaper) which is very much suspicious to me. As cryptonight/cryptonote is the same algo being used by Monero, ByteCoin as well as few other privacy coins. that's just for starters. Their whitepaper seems like a presentation to me not very informative but general text mentioning, how powerful blockchain technology is and what all can be done.

According to their white paper, they are going to bring mobile phone numbers, social media, voting system, real estate, live video streaming, smart contracts and lot other things to their blockchain solution.

Personally, I don't want to say anything more about this company that if it's another coin based MLM scheme or a legit company, I think it's better to leave this upto you guys to decide after reading this post, going to their official website https://www.laxmicoin.com and downloading/reading their whitepaper.

Since I was asked/forced to write a post about LaxmiCoin. So, I decided to post but as I mention to both of these LaxmiCoin guys that I reserve the right for an honest opinion. I would rather welcome any person to make their points about this coin contradicting my opinion. (THAT'S EVERYONE'S RIGHT)

Disclaimer: Everything I have mentioned here, based on my own experience and opinion. No one should take this as a financial advice. Please make your own decision by reading and understanding their website/whitepaper.

Well being honest you are doing the right thing, you are identifying the truth of that company and which is to me is based on your own findings. Make them sure that you are on right and not misleading other people. Or let people know by themselves. Once they realize that its fraud then people will be avoiding it.

@tulhachouhdry Thank you for supporting me on this. I do agree that people should know about scams. Everyone has the right to mention their opinion.

Yeah everyone has the right of opinion.

@amartya-singh I have already replied to this down below on your comment. Just wanted to know, why don't you let everyone know about your wonderful coin and technology. Let's start a debate on that.

@amartya-singh I am so surprised with your eagerness and frustration over the review of this Laxmi coin. You are sending messages to someone for reviewing his own review! An amazing person you are.
As a matter of fact, if I believe that @bunnychum has asked money for posting a new and honest review over the latest updates of this coin then where is he wrong?
He asked you to pay if you want another review but I did not read anywhere that his review will be related to promotion of this coin.
Sir, first you believe in the product you are about to sell in the market. Why are you so insecure about your tech.....
In the end, I would say that this comment of yours only signifies your insecurity and reality of your tech...

@bunnychum,
As far as I know, you are a genuine person and all your topics of writing are genuine and worth reading and considering. In this case, you are forced to do something which does not suite your norms. The reason for that is that maybe a few people have invested in the coin and now they are afraid of negativity being spread about the coin.

Same thing had happened to me earlier, few years back, when I was threatened very badly when I also had brought the 'scam reality' of a coin. It was a havoc of morality at that time. I was abused verbally in various ways and was threatened being abused physically. I had started getting all sorts of dirty and fearful messages daily from thousands of people. When I showed the Facebook messages to my police friend, even he was shocked to read them.

These people who have invested in these coins have fear of price drop down and hence they take such steps because you very well know that Indians don't know how to work hard towards making things better. Like what @pkalra has mentioned. They are just trying to pull you down with 'threatening words'.

I am writing this comment to you because I want you to remain strong in whatever your views are. In future, you may write more about various topics and then again you will receive such threatening messages, that time, please remain BOLD, FIRM and ASSURED that you won't bow down to anything and anyone.

You have complete freedom to write what you think is good and correct. If others are making you feel wrong, then don't listen to them. Listen to yourself!

I am adding one more point here. Those who send you threatening messages on Facebook, you can report their profile mentioning that you are being threatened. You have a lot of options to stop them.

@amartya-singh, Nice move manipulating the audience, This chat was not with you but with Rishabh (@madovercoins). Everyone charges for the work they are getting appointed for. I am a freelance blogger and I review blockchain technologies time to time, mostly at my will and sometimes people hire me to do so, That's my job.

But something you forgot to mention here in the screenshot, which for your ease, I have uploaded below. We had a conversation where I clearly mention about the job I do to review blockchain technologies, but I also mentioned that I reserve the right for an honest opinion.

screenshot below:

In this case, I have reviewed Laxmicoin blockchain at my will as I was forced to, I wanted to know and let others know, what is the solution you guys are providing with your Blockchain and the result is my post.

Can you please explain and make some sensible arguments that would let me and others get interested in Laxmi Coin? because Laxmicoin that you have mentioned is not making any sense at least in my opinion.

If you read my post properly, I have not done any in-depth review but requested everyone to visit your website http://www.laxmicoin.com also read the whitepaper available to check themselves it this makes any sense to anyone. So, they can share their opinion too.

I don't think that you are a professional person. And there's is no sense talking to you, as you are still threatening me on Facebook by saying that I have made it personal for you, Here's another screenshot:

when i first heard of laxmi coin i was very excited to buy the few.but till date most of the people don't know about there official site.Too many sites are offering laxmi coin and they all are fake.Govt.is keen to regulate crypto currency but they still don't know how to regulate their own crypto.

@shagungupta I agree, but I am not able to understand why these people are not talking about the solution/technology they have with their coin. Instead, they just keep on threatening.

D. Bunny Chum,

It was me (Rishabh Anand) who had texted you a month back regarding the misleading article that you had posted and I was very much polite and open with you. You disagreed to make a new post and you may have noticed I was very fine with it and I moved on. Amartya Singh is just a community member and not a core team member, infact not even a team member. The next thing I want to point out is, we didn't encourage him to threaten you, you should firstly make sure if he is the team member or not. I respect the fact that you remained mature with him as I was polite, thus you decided to hide my name, and this Amartya guy wasn't, so you named him which is completely fair. But on the other end, without any proof you accepted that he is our team member which doesn't sound professional to me, this sounds like any other member from the community is texting you on telegram claiming he is the admin and he wants to / threatens to send you some Ethereum. You should have remained professional and discussed this over the mail. Yet again you were able to commit a sin to a hardworking team, this reflects what kind of a person you are.
And our whitepaper looks like a presentation to you, because it is for now. We are working on a better designed whitepaper which will be out this week, here is the first look: Laxmicoin Whitepaper front page c5.jpg

Next, we will let the quarter 3 of this year speak for it self when we launch the mobile miner. Please from the next time before jumping to conclusions and defaming a company, discuss it professionally.

Wishing you good fortune. :)

Without any Research how Can Some One Share This Kind of articles ,
Bunny You have A Good Audience But you are misusing By posting a Article . EVEN Don't knowing that person Is from Laxmicoin Or Not ! I don't want this Kind of Articles , Because I had Followed You later Before

@anillax I have only mentioned facts and stand by my words. I have also read their whitepaper and as far as my understandings of blockchain technology, Promises they are making is not possible with their consensus mechanism.

On the other hand, if you can give me a reason why would someone out of the blue take my previous post and starts threatening me to write an apology?

Also, if you check my last post which I've mentioned in this article, you would see that I have not targeted anyone but just mentioned my finding/experience and opinion as I respect my followers.

@madovercoins The reason to hide your name was just that we had a decent talk. I liked your approach and I didn't want to involve you into this.

anyone visiting a crypto website the first thing is they download the whitepaper and read about the technology being developed.

I second your opinion @bunnychum.if that person is not from the company then why he threaten you to change your opinion and write a new post.

@shagungupta and he continues to do so.

me as an Indian declare that LaxmiCoin is a scam. upto to the stupid public what they want to do with their lives.
Thanks for reporting bunnychum. nothing can stop the truth.

Thank you @banditqueen for confirming this scam. We cannot stop people from investing in anything but at least we can raise an alarm.

you are on steem to make money too right? lol

The best thing you did was to oust them in the open. Many were scammed and to date there are 3 different laxmi coin sites for that.

@mandeep.vicky I only did that because they were threatening me to create a post their favor which I denied. Even now, I would like Its team members (@madovercoins & @amartya-singh) already engaged in this post to let us know, what they have to offer and make some sensible arguments explaining their projects instead of personal attacks or threatening.

these people everywhere wants to really scam people, if their website looks shady and their white paper looks or seems to good to be true, it's someone's duty to somehow report this, or write about it, awareness helps people not to get duped, and glad you let this one out.

@josediccus Thank you for supporting me on this, I really appreciate your comment. I believe scammer should be aware that they will be pointed out & revealed by someone.

In online community its not difficult to predict scams but its also true that these scamers made good things also doutfull..
Scans are everywhere from a persobal level to a well organised system..
Its good you inform people actually its aour duty to take stand against anything we found a scam..

@biyanoor I completely agree with you, we need to take it as our duty to inform people about the scams we find out. If it can save a couple of people it's worth it.

Yeah exactly..
And also these scamers dont deserve any respect..
I am also running a cmpaign against them..
Trying to reveal scams in online community

The good thing about being a blogger is we can be as honest as we want.
No one should take that away from us with vague contradicting opinions.
If they disagree they should present facts and evidences.
We don't work for anyone by blogging, they shouldn't force our hands to write in favor of their interest.

But Bunnychum is not honest.

Since you are now on Steemit..why not write your own article instead of forcing @bunnychum to write about your company.
Through blogging we express our own opinions and point of views. If I am being asked to write about a topic I am no longer working on and will benefit another party then a $300 will motivate otherwise it will be a waste of my time.

Let me give you an example.
I am selling a beauty product but then there’s a bad review released on social media about the aformentioned.Should I message the author and have him correct it or delete his article?
Heck No! I used the product and perform an allrgy test on my self first then used it on my face when there wasn’t any adverse reaction on my inner arm where I first applied the product.
Later on I was satisfied with the results.
I will then write a good to excellent review about it. I can also sell it confidently despite the previous bad review circling around social media because I know it works.
Forcing the author to take down or contradict his own review is not an option to me.

I think thats a great price to charge a scam coin for an article on a scammy coin.

Hahahaha bots are real Steemians. Omg so desperate for sympathy

Thank you @ryl, I do agree with you, Noone should force us to write in favor of their interests. A true blogger should always be honest with the audience.
