How did Bill Gates and Steve Jobs change the world?

Steven Paul Jobs was an American inventor, designer and entrepreneur who was the co-founder, chief executive and chairman of Apple Computer.
Bill Gates and Steve Jobs changed the world through their vision of technology and how technology would enable the best of humanity; however, more importantly, their contributions far exceed those in just technology development and enablement. The advances that both of had made were primarily related to the vast number of industries which each of them helped launch and the significant number of technical advances which they helped make possible.
Although both of them will most likely never received the Nobel Prize, even posthumously, they should be recognized for the foundational advances to humanity which their vision and their companies, Microsoft and Apple have made. Bill and Steve were true visionaries and their contributions to medicine, philanthropy, the Arts as well as education cannot be overstated. Through Bill and Steve's humanitarian contributions as well as technical leadership, the world has progressed in a non-linear and logarithmic manner in its advancement. In addition, both have contributed to creating a legacy of philanthropy and innovation which will continue well into the future, even after they are both no longer.
Both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were visionaries who saw the potential in technologies that they believed in. Both were bold enough to work towards projects that many people initially laughed at.
· By constantly believing in their vision and working towards making it a reality each day, both tech innovations helped shape the world we currently live in. Steve Jobs by opening the eyes of the world to simpler and more intuitive tech options (from iPod, to iPad to Mac and now health devices as his company carries on his legacy) while Bill Gates in the form of allowing consumers get access to personal computers.
· They created a multitude of new jobs: A friend of mine once said how Bill gate and Steve has helped his career. As an expert in new media and Designer and Motion Graphics Artist for interactive digital online applications. His work at Deluxe for iPhone apps during the period when they were first introduced (2007-2008) has been of great help.
Apps have eventually taken over our use of Social Media, and of course, Social Media has become a huge part of the modern day world of communication and entertainment. For instance, Vogue has been focussed on developing a successful and engaging brand for Vogue's Snapchat Discover Channels (British, Pairs, and Espanol). Snapchat has overtaken Vogue's social media engagement and researches a higher audience than all other social media channels combined.
