OPU Labs - The Blockchain Skin Health Platform - Part 1 Science & Skin Health
OPU Labs is probably the most extensive project that I have examined so far. I will describe in two profound articles, the vision and the related practical application of the OPU Labs platform.

The team, which founder and CEO Marc Bookman has gathered around, has big plans and they are not hiding on the way to their goal, as equally significant challenges. Their full focus is on people's skin health and the creation of a science-based platform that will ensure that every user gets the best possible information he gives. A holistic system will emerge in the coming years, bringing researchers, doctors and sufferers together to accelerate research into the healing of skin diseases, studies and large-scale exchanges. Besides, integrating skin product manufacturers into the platform will create a unique symbiosis in which all parties will experience an entirely new way of exchanging data and the resulting treatment options.
The unbelievably large market for skin health products is just waiting to develop new, more straightforward methods to reach potential customers. OPU Labs will provide you with the platform for this, and I am sure that many partnerships will emerge over the next few years. The massive volume of over $ 100,000,000,000 is being implemented in this health sector around the world every year, and once the link between the sufferer, the physicians and the various solutions is established, this sum will grow faster than before. I trained nutritionist and know that the skin can be a reflection of the overall health. This illustrates how important it is to look at skin health from all directions, to share and then join forces to find solutions.

What problems will the project solve?
The first problem will be known to anyone who has had to do with skin diseases. Not everyone goes straight to the doctor because it's just the skin, nothing dramatic. Because there are so many products that promise anything but can keep these promises but hard. At this point not only the first erroneous purchases of useless products but even wrong treatments that could have been prevented by a consultation with the doctor perhaps. However, this is not always easy and quick to get. In my hometown, for example, you may have to wait a few weeks to get an appointment with the dermatologist.
With the OPU platform, the support of the dermatologists, many times faster and, above all, uncomplicated, reach those affected. The AI and Blockchain technology, as well as sophisticated search capabilities, will allow the user to come up with a recommendation tailored to their skin problems. These will then be able to lead him faster to a possible healing process, be it through products or treatments. In this ecosystem, many stakeholders will play an extraordinary role. The following graphic illustrates this very clearly.
Who will use OPU Labs and why?
The platform's first significant user group will be dermatologists, as they will be more likely to advise patients than ever before. For example, due to the exact analysis methods of the software, a similar assessment of the skin condition can be made without the patient having to visit the practice. For example, doctors can help, which the patient would never reach in today's circumstances. The second primary user group are manufacturers of skin health products. The OPU Labs platform will be able to provide useful recommendations to people with skin problems based on the data collected and the resulting exchange of experiences. So OPU Labs is also a platform for the products of the health industry, where the wrong products are filtered out and thus the effective finally reach the needy. The product developers will be very interested in this scientifically based platform. A marketing tool and at the same time a sales market.
Of course, as a third group, I would like to lead the people who are struggling with skin problems. You will have many reasons why you use OPU Labs. Why does the platform use blockchain technology?
Now it's getting a bit technical, and there are 27 pages in the whitepaper, all about the details of blockchain in OPU Labs. I'll just cut this short and refer all tech enthusiasts to the white paper.
The Blockchain technology is undoubtedly the heart of the OPU Labs platform and is used in various application areas. There are the following subdivisions of the platform, many of them are still under development and will get better with use, as they depend on data volume and demand. A database is only as robust as the number of data stored.
OPU AI is the currently completed platform that could be tested in conjunction with an Airdrop. I did that weeks ago, and I have to admit that I was impressed with the quality that the team delivered here. In short, this is the surface to take pictures of the skin. The Artificial Intelligence behind it identifies all skin lesions and matches them with the database, creates images in the profile and much more. The basic version of this interface will be accessible free of charge.
OPU Search will be the part of the platform about which information can be searched. The underlying database will grow over time, and the service will continuously improve. With OPU Connect, we are dealing with the actual database, to which all users of the platform will have different access. The heart of the offer. Here, too, everything is still in the development phase. The OPU CRM will individually manage the user data and connect all possible services. Through this interface, doctors and therapists will be able to create their treatment plans and even hold live consultations. Live Chat and the fast processing of inquiries will probably be the centrepiece here. I am very curious how this part of the OPU Labs platform will develop, my expectations are very high. Of course, there will be the possibility that partners from outside the company with specially designed apps with the OPU Blockchain connect. This is still future music, but the only logical step, if one has understood the technical possibilities of Blockchain.
The OPU token ecosystem and the ICO.
As with almost all blockchain projects, there is also a token here, which will initially serve as a currency. As an ERC-223 token, the OPU Coin is an Ethereum Token and is managed in an in-house wallet on the platform. It can be bought and earned, and we can act as currency and medium of exchange in the ecosystem. The token is simply a utility token, and the special thing is that the tokens are allowed into the system very slowly. It is very rare that in an ICO only such a small amount is offered for sale as with the OPU ICO. Only 5.5% of the total number of tokens are available to investors. With the growth of the platform and the simultaneous increase in user numbers, the team will be sending OPU Coins into the ecosystem again and again.

The ICO has been ringing for some time and has been in the Pre ICO phase since 26.06.2018. It ends on 31.07.2018 and then seamlessly into the public sale, which in turn will end on 30.09.2018. So it's more than enough time to work on the project in depth.
At this point, I would like to point out to all those interested that every future investor has to make up his own opinion about a project in which he/she wants to invest. Any reporting on an ICO is only an opinion of the creator of the material. This is important to note and applies to every single blockchain project, and even OPU Labs is no exception.
What speaks for OPU Labs?
In addition to the distinct and so far unique application of the project, which focuses exclusively on the skin health, I see above all the strength in the connection of the most diverse interest groups. It connects patients, doctors & therapists and clinics, as well as producers of healthcare products, researchers and developers. That's only possible with Blockchain technology, and the OPU Labs team has built a value-driven ecosystem designed for longevity and steady growth. It is OPU, one of the few Blockchain platforms that can manage to stay for many decades, not just to survive, but to stay at the top as a leader. I think everyone knows at least one person who has skin problems or is even plagued by disease in this area. With the OPU Labs platform, many people can be helped more straightforwardly, and we are in desperate need of precisely those solutions. From my practice as a nutritionist, it is clear that we have to deal with a rapidly increasing clinical picture in society, which negatively affects the so important external appearance. I suspect that this is why the troubled people will be turning their attention to Blockchain solutions faster than they might be on other good Crypto projects. The need for an answer is obvious, and it is growing fast.
