The EcoBall Reached a Consensus on Technical + Business Cooperation with the ASTRI !
On July 24th, EcoBall ideology design contributor Thomas, CEO David, and marketing director Jennifer had a deep conversation with Dr. Lei Zhibin, the Acting Director of the Institute, about the current status and trends of the blockchain industry, the project development and further business cooperation. Finally both parties have reached a preliminary consensus.

The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was established by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to promote the development of technology-based industries through applied research and enhance Hong Kong’s competitiveness. As the international leader in the blockchain technology, the EcoBall focuses on the ideological structure and leading technical capabilities, which has attracted the attention of the ASTRI. The ASTRI hopes that this visit will bring new awareness and expansion of the blockchain industry business and technology to ASTRI and even Hong Kong.

- Financial Technology Field
In line with the current needs of Hong Kong’s financial technology development, the EcoBall team and Dr. Lei combined industry cognition and previous cases with reference to the industry’s application experience in the financial field. Both parties have in-depth discussion in the aspect of network security, blockchain and big data analysis and finally reached consensus in building a compatible, universal network information sharing platform.
Facing with the current pains and misunderstandings in development or implementation during development and application of blockchain technology, including information sharing and privacy disclosure. EcoBall China technology leader in research and development Dr. Wang Xu and ASTRI team analyzed the current situation and problems of the existing blockchain projects, especially for the commercialization application part of the ASTRI, Dr. Wang has introduced the ideological concept and implementation plan of the EcoBall project, and gained the ASTRI team unanimous recognition and praise.

Lack of Information transparency, inability to trace and manage are the two major pain points of Internet of Things. Thus they affected the large-scale landing of related businesses in the Internet of Things. In this regard, Dr. Lei shared the past experience of cooperation in the field of Internet of Things, and initially constructed a project blueprint for implementing the blockchain technology in the field of Internet of Things with the EcoBall team.
- The Blockchain Industry Promotion
In the promotion of the blockchain industry, the EcoBall team put forward its own ideas on how to regulate the global blockchain industry market, that is, establish a domestic blockchain association, and connect with experts at home and abroad blockchain industry to form a professional industrial group and build a platform for industry project exchanges and cooperation and the development of relevant norms.
