SPOKKZ- AN ECOSYSTEM OF TV & FILM ON THE BLOCKCHAIN

Hello friends, I’m here again with yet a novel and genius innovation put together by the SPOKKZ team, a solid and innovative project that is in its presale stage. They wowed me with their simple yet innovative initiative, hence my decision to review the project for my teaming audience to make investments decisions.

The SPOKKZ project is a financing platform can be utilized to partially or fully fund movies, TV shows and other projects that launch on the project platform. It is an offshoot of SPUUL, a leading company formed in 2012 in Singapore with offices in four major cities of the world and finances contents and then "sells" subscriptions to its users for viewing and brings entertainment for everyone’s consumption.

It is important to note that the movie industry is a highly centralized one, replete with popular and large studios with selfish and self-centered programs and their middlemen having to decide which contents to present to the viewers and still having to charge them expensive amounts to view these contents. This is largely made possible because these platforms are mostly user-pays-views. As a core of its function, SPOKKZ aims to ensure that everyone in the ecosystem is an equal stakeholder, since they will be crowdfunding and helping promote movies & TV shows. In the end, everyone has an equal stake, from the producers, to the content creators, to the distributors, to the stars and advertisers, all in the ecosystem and value chain are equal.

SPOKKZ therefore aims to disrupt the system, take the sole control of the system away from these big guys by letting the viewers decide what contents they want access to and what price is convenient for them, by giving access to a decentralized marketplace devoid of any monopolistic controls. At the core of its function, SPOKKZ aims to ensure that everyone in the ecosystem is an equal stakeholder, since they will be crowdfunding and helping promote movies & TV shows. At the center of this all is the SPOKKZ Token which will power the ecosystem and plays the essential role of removing the disharmony from contents creation, distribution, and monetization, thus enabling stakeholders in the value chain (fans and contents creators/providers) to become partners. On the other hand, Spuul also intends to use SPOKKZ tokens to encourage its community of users to contribute with reviews, comments, subtitles, etc., with the aim of creating a social platform for people interested in movies, fashion, songs, stars cinema...

The SPOKKZ WALLET

Formed in 2012 in Singapore, it is worthy of note that the Spuul ecosystem today as it stands already has a secure wallet for most fiat currencies. Their customers use this wallet to make over 1.8 million transactions monthly in FIFTEEN major currencies. To give more flesh to it, Spokkz plans to add blockchain support so that the wallets will accept ERC20-based tokens like SPOKKZ. The wallet will also be available for peer-to-peer use especially by non-subscribers.

As contained in their whitepaper, SPOKKZ have a strategic collaboration with Ontology, a solid project by all standards and they both form an alliance where SPOKKZ will integrate on the Ontology ecosystem. This aims most importantly to identify key media assets that can be brought on to the Ontology platform and integrated on to the SPOKKZ ecosystem. As we all know, Ontology prides itself with a high-performance blockchain, this will therefore help in instilling mutual trust between stakeholders in the ecosystem.

This is a very ambitious project and as an investor I look out for a project with high use case and good value proposition as it seeks to further empower the every stakeholder in the ecosystem and making everyone equal. Also, my mind was blown when I read the whitepaper and saw firsthand how ambitious and revolutionary this project would be. SPOKKS will be making some real changes to the movie industry landscape via the blockchain. This is what the blockchain revolution is all about.
