Distributed Public Ledger (block-chain) use cases

Some people think I'm insane for suggesting that block-chain technology (and its future iterations) will be just as, if not more revolutionary than the internet. For those people, and anyone else, here is a list of potential use cases for block-chain technology that I will sporadically update as ideas pop into my head:

  • 100% accurate secret ballot voting
  • real time monitoring of government/organization spending & revenue
  • accurate and efficient management of medical records between healthcare providers
  • incorruptible financial records
