GPX – TRANSFORMING THE ENERGY SYSTEM THROUGH BLOCKCHAIN

In our daily lives we need power in order to carry out our daily activities. Our common sources of energy are oil, gas and coal. Recently, the trend is changing to the use of renewable resources such as solar, biogas and wind. These sources of energy are much cheaper as compared to the other non-renewable sources. The process of purchasing power involves a lot of middlemen who make the purchasing process much longer. In the end, the producers lose some of their money to these middlemen whiles consumers also suffer by paying huge sums of money for power.
Green Power Exchange (GPX) wishes to create a decentralized system which will clear all middlemen, making power more affordable. We also wish to combine both solar and wind energy with the view of reducing costs and providing renewable energy.
A lot of developed countries have already started using renewable energy as their source of power and the number of users keep increasing by day. Most of these energy providers are provided by companies with a general server that users connect to. The disadvantage is that, when the server is damaged, then everyone connected to that server is affected.

With the introduction of a decentralized system by GPX, users will not be connected to a server before they can purchase energy.
We will link the customers directly to the producers, hence customers will enjoy lower costs of energy whiles producers also enjoy higher profits from the sale of energy. The introduction of the blockchain system will also prevent the destruction of the system.

We also seek to provide or customers with a choice when purchasing power and help customers to save time and money when purchasing energy. Since developed countries have high energy consumption and high purchasing, we will implement our projects in those countries and move further to different counties. The countries include; Canada, Austria, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany and United Kingdom.

Christian Ehrenthal is a Co-founder and also the Head of the Technology department. He was the CEO of BlackBird group which is a very renowned software company.
Chris Wentzel is a Co-fonder and the Head of Energy. He is the Chairman of Solar Provider Group, a solar company that has impacted many lives.
Kit Harrison is the Senior Manager for North America. He was a marketing associate at Solar Provider Group.
Alexander Eherenthal is the Senior Manager for Technology. He has a lot of experience I software developing.
Tom Helliwell is the Senior Manager for Europe. He is a Business Consultant as Solar Provider Group.
Charles Palko is the Head of Operations. He is a Managing Consultant with over 20 years experience.
Uwe Luehrig is the platform Strategist. He is an advisor in digitizing business processes for global players.
Hanwey Sheih is the Head for Growth and Branding. He has vast expertise in digital marketing.
