Are we in Blockchain war?
First off, I am not Blockchain expert. I do really care about blockchain technology, especially decentralized and P2P Blockchain.
Something that came off as worrying to me is not coming from war or competition among crypto currency, but the adoption of "private blockchain" by government and legacy privileged institution. Like for example tech giant Samsung and LG which recently launched corda, developed by R32 to deliver service much like XEM, ripple, stellar lumens did. The big money and close business alignment of old capitalist corporate will certainly win over the likes of XEM.
Let alone countries like China and Russia will have their respective Blockchain.
The trillion dollars question is. Are we in a Blockchain war? And can we, the grassroot, small decentralized player survived?
One of the factor for success of new coin is about anonymous. If the government unable to keep their coins anonymous then is useless. They may just use their own currency.
Yes Bella, transaction anonimity is something that we can not expect from a government.
