Merging Crypto, AR/VR and Real-World Marketing with IZX

The Cryptographer here again- we’re about to decipher another brand new blockchain project. This time we’ll be diving in to IZX.

In Brief (the section for those too lazy, or busy, to read on)

I have chosen IZX to review today for two reasons: its demonstratable previous success already, and more importantly IZX provides a clear bridge between crypto and the real-world, which I am always excited to see.

We live in a world where technology serves as a crucial aspect of human endeavour. The world of marketing and advertisement is certainly not left out either- advertising technologies require innovation! In the many rapidly changing business environments of today’s industry powered world, there is always a pressing need for effective marketing technologies.

IZX is, in a nutshell, is providing a truly innovative solution to the current stagnation of marketing with their merging of blockchain with AR/VR for this very purpose; the IZX token is a token either purchased, of course, or acquired through their platform- a PokemonGo-style VR/AR driven gaming experience- and which are redeemable for specific promotions, discounts etc.

What exactly is IZX?

The major driver of conversions of any product is undoubtedly marketing and adverts, and that is what IZX offers- but in a brand new medium. IZX intends to make business-to-customer value exchange not only more effective and lucrative, but more transparent, and secure at every point in the process. IZX is designed so that new businesses can build effective marketing campaigns using this next-generation marketing method, whilst providing an assured and necessary level of security into the process of integrating cryptocurrency into a business’ marketing campaign and platform- thereby erasing the boundaries between virtual and real valuables.

In summary, IZX is a completely new concept- and in my opinion could prove to be genius- in the form of their decentralized platform thought through from start to finish in terms of building truly effective interaction between advertisers, game developers, and customers.

That’s a big vision to be announcing in the 2018 world of stale online marketing!

What is the problematic landscape identified by IZX?

Current traditional methods of advertising are becoming stale, and ineffective for businesses for acquiring new customers- after years of being bombarded by ad after ad whilst surfing the web online, people have developed ‘ad blindness’, making it much harder to garner the attention of potential customers.

This has been the case for some time, and is desperately needing to be addressed, especially for small businesses with smaller marketing budgets who can not compete with the spending power of larger entities.

As a result of poorly performing traditional marketing, business entities have been switching to the omni-channel model of interaction with their customers. This switch led to businesses attempting to generate the broadest coverage in advertising methods- a sort of ‘quantity over quality’ visual approach in all channels available.

However, the fiercely competitive advertising space is inevitably dominated by the biggest companies with the biggest marketing budgets as they struggle to be noticed in a sea of generalised advertisements.

The advertising environment, then, is definitely not ideal in its current form for its very purpose of attracting new customers and spreading awareness. A new and innovative marketing solution is obviously desperately required to reinvigorate the connection between businesses and customers.

How does IZX intend to use blockchain to solve these issues?

The use of Blockchain is the base layer on which the whole concept of the IZX project is built- of course you can’t have a useful cryptocurrency (including IZX) without a Blockchain, and vice versa. The use of this Blockchain will provide a variety of payment, security and utility-based opportunities and advantages.

Blockchain use in micropayments and real-time payment settlement itself has a potential new market in the form of IZX users, which of course encourages the use adoption of cryptocurrency generally which is positive for the space itself, but is also important in disrupting the centralised advertising systems traditionally in use. The advertising model promoted by IZX shifts the value away from the big centralised advertising exchanges and networks, and places it firmly with those who are actually acting within the advertising ecosystem: advertisers, publishers, and programmers.

The actual platform which IZX offers in its form as a game-like experience which is reminiscent of PokemonGo is definitely a novel concept when you switch the idea from collecting Pokemon to that of collecting CRYPTO- now a whole new financial incentive is in place for players/ potential customers on top of purely enjoyment will encourage widespread use of the platform.

IZX also solves the issue of high costs and equally high inefficiency of traditional advertising methods by reducing intermediaries in the process. This is one plus always for me when I’m researching a Blockchain project- if the solution is effective and efficient enough to reduce the need for middlemen in a process then for me that shows inherent value in itself. Tick!

The Cryptographer's verdict

The IZX platform provides a truly innovative and brand new practical approach for businesses to effectively generate targeted and engaged potential new customers. IZX’s new approach solves the numerous common problems inherent in traditional centralized marketing space, mainly linked to critical inefficacies and most destructively the general ‘stale’ and therefore ineffective nature of traditional advertising methods.

One thing which I do think is notably worthy of merit, is how much the platform itself is working to promote the blockchain space, in a passive way. Cryptocurrency traditionally spreads among specific communities (investors, traders, speculators etc.), but IZX is a cryptocurrency that has the potential to be appearing in the wallets of a wide array of people- many of which would not previously be interested or simply not exposed to the world of cryptocurrency beforehand, but are enticed by the innovative platform and financial incentives.

This outside-the-box-thinking project could prove itself to be a true innovation in the making for the world of marketing and advertisements.

IZX definitely gets a tick from The Cryptographer! Another great innovation I’ll be keeping a close eye on.

Been getting psyched about this one... if ever there was a way to encourage effective use of crypto in the real world its a game like this linked to actual utilization at shops etc

Pokemon Go was definitely proof of concept for harnessing public attention, I think with crypto incentives this will be an excellent approach!

Nice one TC I can still remember the frenzy when the poekmon go game was all the rage! That engagement but applied in a crypto/ marketing solution is excellent. I will be following.
