QUADRANT : A Blockchain Decentralized Data Protocol

In our present-day society, adequate and authentic Data fuels everything that is being done. This is because with the right data, great result is achieved. The constant trading of personal Data, inadequate use, and un authorized access has made the supply of data by individuals to be far less than true. Most Data suppliers (individuals) many a times provide fake data as they don't get anything in return for it and other times, they are forced against their will to provide data before they can access some websites. All this makes one most times provide fake data.

Let’s take for instance, Mr John deals with Deodorants, he decides to take a survey and know what fragrance people love most and the reasons behind their preferences. He meets with a couple of people and questions them on this. Some of these persons he is using for his survey may feel that they are being used, and as a result of this will provide fake preference data to Mr john. Mr john goes back to the factory and produces more deodorants based on his survey result. On getting to the market, these deodorants won’t sell due to the fact they were produced based on fake preference data. This same scenario is applicable and can be seen in our various companies today. Real data is not made available to everyone who would have need for it. With the wrong or fake data, a company can be destroyed or pushed out of the market by its competitors.

Quadrant is here to bridge this gap by providing facilities with which companies, agencies who would have need for genuine, trusted, authentic and reliable data can make use of for their data needs. In the Quadrant protocol, the data provider is compensated for the data they provide, and this will go a long way to motivate people to provide authentic data when called upon.
