STEEMIT- BEYOND GETTING REWARD #2
People been posting how wonderful it is to post via Busy.org, then i decided to give it a go today since i am so used to the Steemit interface and using any other platform seems like cheating on my wife!
A couple of months ago, i made a blog about how Steemit Earnings was not my only target since joining this platform. I discussed the challenges i have with my business and what i intended to do with the opportunities of being on Steemit. So today, here is a continuation of my post as a suggestion to other Stemians like me.
Is there an alternative to getting rewards generally in life, both in cash(resources) and kind(acts)? A researcher named Kohn while researching about students behaviors states that Rewards actually do not get the individuals to their objectives.Sounds like hard fact to swallow, but he has some point in the sense that Getting to much rewards my derailed someone from achieving the apex of their objectives.
Many Steemians never considered using this golden opportunity found on Steemit to move their Businesses forward, all they are concerned about is what drops in their wallets after Payout on the 7th day. Just blogging and getting upvotes is legit and surpasses the many years wasted on multiple social media websites. That was what @ned and his friends had in mind when they were cooking up steemit- but have you ever considered the multiple things that could be done through Steemit even before SMTs were announced?
To many who runs an offline business, this might sounds absurd. But to wet your appetite, i shall be doing a little rundown into how you could maximize Steemit and improve your business and gigs. Read along with me
RAISE FUNDS
Yes, many of us had made some tiny little cash since joining steemit; some had made a huge and substantial sum. This rewards could be accumulated to get some projects you been dreaming of in motion, kick-start some actions with your ideas. To many who had fantastic plans but have no means to finance it, here is your cue-save up sum Steem/SBD and set the ball rolling when you hit a substantial target in savings.
Another way is a crowd-fund, raising a crowd-funded campaign for your plans/business requires another point i will be emphasizing about which is "Networking".This is highly liable to get you all the funds you needed for your plans/projects.
NETWORKING
Very easy some people think, how many people have you kept in touch with since your initial conversations few months ago? Networking people is a tactical task, not just a "HELLO & HI" relationship. Build some values around those people you have met in the community and stay relevant with them.
Meeting new friends all over the World might add some ideas to your list of ideas, those new circles might fine tune your ideas into a Mega-Million deal. Lobbying is not what i am talking about here, asking for favors without first establishing a good relationship is very frowned upon.
EARN AND BUILD YOUR TRUST
The Reputation on Steemit counts for so many reasons, it shows how consistent you have been and sometimes how trust worthy people can vouch for you. As sad as it sounds, several people wants to quickly increase their Reputation and never earn people's trust. The number of people you have networked and interacted with and the kind of meaningful conversation you had with them will clearly indicate the type of person you are and the kind of motives. If you are always cajoling people to come and support you and have no tangible things to show for it then your trust bar keeps dropping till you run dry!
IDEA FACTORY
To be honest, the shitload of things most of us knew about the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency is from this community of brilliant individuals. So many ideas keeps floating around in posts and comments which might be useful to anyone and maybe turn their lives around if implemented. As one very intelligent Steemian use to say and i quote:
The Mega-Million ideas you need lies fallow in someone's brain!
The mind is a powerful tool and so is it's consciousness- Thinking! There are Billions of ideas floating around and a simple action is needed to make them manifest. Just like several fishes wanting to take the bait and become a meal for the Fisherman.
COUNTLESS OPPORTUNITIES
As much as many people who doesn't know this, several people had secured jobs remotely on this Platform. Several Steemgigs had been shared for people to come handle a project and get rewarded in Steem/SBD, it will interest you to that a particular steemian didn't get chosen in a designing contest but was later called upon to carry out periodic task designing user interfaces. Opportunities abound when we try several things out and not chicken-out at the thought of taking some actions.
This are my collections of what surpasses Rewards on Steemit, not a mandate to agree with me but any logical thinking individual will want to look beyond what drops in his/her wallet and wants to make something more relevant out of this Golden Opportunity called Steemit!

it's getting harder and harder to earn on steemit, also the steem dollar is always down if we compare it with bitcoin, I don't think that will go up someday :(

Relationships and opportunities. I'm beginning to see that unfold. In just 5 months of joining Steemit, I've discovered ways of maximizing my potentials by just being selfless.
I have also met a couple of vision driven people that have made me realize that there is more to life than making just money.
Far from getting upvotes and high steem power, I have made money from just trading cryptocurrency. A knowledge I picked from steemit.chat.
I'm also looking at upping my graphics design skills. These things are irrelevant in our society to a great deal but they matter a lot in the outside world.
Steemit shouldnt be treated as a money making platform. Users who do that will not gain as much as they hope.

Steemit is full of ideas and information. When I joined steemit I had little knowledge about cryptocurrencies but I've since come to know more about altcoins and the blockchain technology. Most of my friends keep asking me about bitcoin and I can now confidently explain to them in details about bitcoin and altcoins thanks to steemit
