Constructing my blockchain miner - #Week1

Blockchain mining is the new tech trend and I know I am currently late to this party but, better late than never! So here goes, I have order some hardware for my GPU miner, got half of my bits this week, waiting for the other half coming next week. Actually all the important hardware is coming next week! Here is what I have received so far this week:

• Wooden mining frame - new - €55
• Intel G4400 Box (with stockfan) - new - €58
• MSI Z270-A PRO - new - €105
• Samsung 8GB DDR3-1600 DIMM - used - €30
• Fujitsu 500GB 2.5" HDD - salvaged - €0

My miner is actually a mix of old and new, I wanted to cut some cost when I know somethings like RAM are not a crucial component of mining I opted for the cheaper option. There is an GPU shortage too at the moment due partly to many people like me buying GPU for mining causing a supply gut. To ensure I can at least start some mining I have also got a second hand AMD R9 290 to start. I am hoping to get at least 2 new GTX 1070 within the next 5 weeks once they are back in stock.
