NeonExchange (NEX) ICO Review

in #blockchain7 years ago (edited)

Neon Exchange (NEX) aims to combine the performance of centralized exchanges with the trust and security properties of decentralized exchanges. The system consists of three main components: an off-chain trade matching engine, a smart contract where trades are executed, and a payment service where global assets such as NEO and GAS can be converted to tokens that can be transfered directly by smart contracts, making them compatible with the exchange

NEX leverages an off-chain matching engine to enable faster and more complex trades across multiple blockchains such as NEO and Ethereum

NEX handles enormous trade volume through its unique publicly verifiable off-chain matching engine.
The NEX payment service enables third-party smart contracts on NEO to send and receive global assets such as NEO and GAS as part of their computation.
NEX handles complex order types that aren’t currently available on other decentralized exchanges such as market and limit orders.
NEX allows for performant trades between tokens based on the NEO and Ethereum networks.
The NEX token sale will occur in late April or May on a date to be announced and will require contributions through the NEX extension or the token sale feature in NEON wallet with GAS or NEO.

Concerns -

Dates on the Neonexchange Website Are All over the Place. Some Parts State That the Kyc Documents Had to Be Submitted Before March 30th, This Turned out to Be Around the Middle of April. No Hard Ico Date Set at the Time of Writing (April 2018). Some Parts of the Website Contradict Other Parts of the Website. Not a Direct Concern for Neonexchange but Something That Could Be Easily Fixed.
Neonexchange Needs to Ensure They Are Bringing the Best Features to the Table Right from the Start. As a First Mover, Competitors Are Going to Be Watching Closely to See What They Can Include and Improve on in Their Own Solutions. From What We Can See, Neonexchange Is Definitely Doing Their Best to Put Themselves Way Ahead of the Curve.
