WEX and Bitcoin: Reopening of BTC-e or a new product

It is rumored that BTC-e has launched a new platform for bitcoin exchange services.
Based on a twitter account, WEX is result of an effort to return the bitcoin exchange options to the hands customers.
The exchange services was cut off since July 2017 by American authortities.However, WEX platform seems like a major copy of former BTC-e in terms of design, functionality and exchange capabilities.
In WEX site, by contrast, the founders deny any similarity and state that the technical teams behind these projects are different.
Anyway, all BTC-e users account info are migrated to WEX and the first week is in beta.Those users who transfer their assests will be rewarded with gift tokens.
Before launching WEX, in another tweet, BTC-e was required to redesign its structure and accept an audit process which confirms BTC-e confinement to the laws.
