In our new series, we'll be introducing monthly recaps - Filling our community in on all we've been up to both on and off the digital court.
More specifically, we'd like to use this post to highlight our emerging presence in major Asian markets - further establishing our foothold as one of the most globally recognized protocols in the entire blockchain ecosystem.

One of the most important aspects of a successful project is communication. Here at Velas, we’ve been hard at work developing a new suite of team members, partners, and developments to take our project to the next level.

We’ve got a lot to cover so let’s dive right in!

New Developer Teams

Building out a strong core dev team is crucial to the long term success of Velas. With this in mind, we’re happy to announce the addition of two new developers,

ANDRII STEHNO

Andrii Stehno — Founder and CTO of Web3 Space and Token0x Platform

Robert Vasilyev

Robert Vasilyev — co-founder and CEO of Z-Union and president of the Artificial Intelligence Development Laboratories Association (AILA).

At its core, these additions will optimize both our consumer-facing products and our underlying AI systems to provide an enhanced end-to-end solution. In particular, these teams will be developing a reputation model for Velas nodes — further building on our position as one of the most advanced staking systems in the game.

Velas Brand Ambassadors — CoinBros
Behind the dynamic duo, CoinBros are Taui Moe and Jesse Nobles — crypto vets with a specialty in producing viral content. Their videos have featured top influences like John McAfee, Kim.com all while covering industry memes to perfection.
As professional content creators, the CoinBros leverage their global audience to shine a spotlight on blockchain’s most notable projects. By teaming up with Velas, the CoinBro’s are set to release some of their biggest videos to date, likely garnering millions of plays from new audiences who are eager to discover the benefits Velas has to offer.

Kalani Moe — Creative Marketing

When it comes to developing partnerships in US markets, Velas is excited to bring on Kalani Moe — a cryptocurrency veteran with 4+ years of experience building token startups from the ground up. As a founder of the Divi Project, Kalani has a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to distilling complex topics like masternodes into easy to follow guides for non-technical users.
Following a successful exit, Kalani displayed his creative edge in a variety of blockchain projects. As someone always in the know regarding blockchain’s latest developments, Kalani is set to head a new wave of creative input to help bolster the Velas brand and ecosystem at large.

When it comes to strong positioning within the wider ecosystem, Velas has always prided ourselves on making a big splash at any events we attend.
At this year’s Istanbul Blockchain Economy conference, we teamed up with the CoinBros to deliver one of the most talked-about introductions of the week.

Beyond the viral content, our CEO Alex Alexandrov delivered a compelling presentation on the intersection of blockchain and automation:

“In the past 10 years, we’ve seen a huge movement in automation. Self-driving cars are a great example of autonomous things that will inevitably run our everyday life. Our job is to position Velas properly in that future”

Paramount to our success is liquidity for Velas protocol native token — VLX. As we continue to vamp up Velas use-cases, we’re excited to account for our latest listing on ZBG — a top 10 exchange with a strong focus on the Hong-Kong market.

Velas Wallet Updates

Looking for more ways to store and interact with VLX?
Rest assured that we’ve been hard at work on several wallet improvements, including the launch of our new decentralized wallets which can be found here.
In parallel, you can access our desktop wallets here, both of which proceed with our upcoming mobile wallets which are expected to launch on Google Play and the Apple App Store by the end of Q1 2020.

On the technical front, we recently conducted several internal audits — all of which came back with glowing results.
Our research team also finished an in-depth technical analysis of I-IV generations blockchain — ultimately shaping the direction in which our AI will be trained. Be sure to check in next month as we will have a big update in this department.
