Weekly Report 2020 March #2

In this weekly report (2nd Week of March 2020): CryptoDiffer announced VSYS as one of the TOP 14 staking coins. We are now hosting a trading contest with HitBTC. Tachyon Protocol (IPX) is ranked #115 on CoinMarketCap, and its Decentralized VPN App is now available on Google Play for global users. Please read the full report below.

1. VSYS Blockchain Development

Mainnet Development

VSYS smart contracts are currently being developed further to support more advanced functionalities. There are several specific functions being developed:

A lock contract feature based on the deposit / withdraw function is being developed, users will be able to store VSYS or tokens on these contracts and lock these assets for some period of time.

New Opcode for smart contracts is being developed. These new features are based on the new deposit / withdraw feature and will enable a large number of new usages for smart contracts.

The V Systems payment channel is currently being developed and tested, the payment channel is a smart contract that can store VSYS or tokens, allowing users to keep a majority of payment transactions off-chain. This can potentially save a large amount of transaction fees for users who deal with a lot of transactions between the same parties.

Utils Development

The V-Cloud service is getting ready to release, providing organisations with an extremely easy way of integrating with the VSYS Blockchain. Blockchain users who wish to quickly and easily set up a blockchain system with pre-built applications can do so using this service.

The development of V-Cloud web terminal and top-up features is almost done. After completed, they will open to public use in the future. The next stage function and database related function is under researching and experimenting.

VSYS Supernode rank list website https://vsysrate.com is updating. Sub-node will be supported in the next release.

The release candidate version of V web wallet is published on Testnet. Users can test and experience the new version of the web wallet via https://test.v.systems . The detail of new features can be seen here https://github.com/virtualeconomy/v-wallet-gui/releases

More Node Monitor Tool is discussing and researching. After development completed, they will open to public use in the future.

Integration with General Bytes (a cryptocurrency ATM) is currently in development.

VSYS was announced as one of the Top 14 staking projects by Exchanges on CryptoDiffer

In this week, CryptoDiffer evaluated VSYS as one of the top 14 staking projects by Exchanges based on the Estimated Annualized Rate of Returns. VSYS generates a higher annualized rate comparatively on KuCoin, MXC, and Huobi Wallet when comparing to other projects, with at least 9.83% return rate. The VSYS team promises to maintain a healthy staking environment, and further promote staking worldwide.
