Arsenal are interested in signing Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.

The 21-year-old scored three goals in 37 appearances last season as Roma finished third in Serie A and reached the Champions League semi-finals.

Juventus are also interested in Pellegrini, whose current contract contains a £26m release clause.

Roma are interested in signing Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante as a replacement for Pellegrini if the Italy international leaves the club.

Interesting how Arsenal wants to sign players without having installed a manager yet. Will the yet-to-be appointed manager like the players? Why can't they appoint a manager first, then the new manager will start buying players. A little amaturerish from the Gunners of London?
