News - Jalan Samarkilang Still Grounded Land

in #blog6 years ago (edited)

The provincial road to Samarkilang, Main Shia Sub-district, Bener Meriah, still barrier of land since independent Indonesia 74 years ago. Main Shi'ites who enter in remote areas have never been touched asphalt.

Sadra Munawar, the main Shiite citizen, told Serambi on Saturday (4/3) that the opening of the road from Pondok Baru to Samarkilang had been done in 2002, however, the development is only limited to the opening of roads. As a result, the main Shi'a who has 29 villages have been isolated since tens of years ago.

The condition of roads since Indonesia stood unsealed, so when drought, dust flew, otherwise during the rainy season, mud puddles scattered along the road, he said.

Da explained, in the dry season there are eight points of the road is very worrying, because there are springs around the road that flows into the road, until the mud is formed. As in Pucuk Nuning, Iyong Koro, and Keken, if at that point we pass, then the water with the mud overflows, not infrequently our vehicles stuck there, again.

Meanwhile, with the worrisome road conditions, aggravated again by passing trucks wooden, results of illegal logging that loaded dozens of tons of wood. It is said, the trucks are fast towards or from Samarkilang, so the road conditions like buffalo buffalo.

The timber trucks should not apply during the rainy season, because the roads are difficult to navigate, even often impassable, added Sadra Munawar.

It is said, with the condition of the provincial road that is not asphalted like buffalo puddles, then the main Shia people who like as farmers hard to remove the harvest.

It's been a long time since we've been releasing crops, like chili, rice, beans, betel and chocolate. Finally, the crop can not be brought to the market in Redelong, Sadra added.

Apart from that, he continued, the distance to his residence with the district capital is not far away, but must be taken with a trip that takes up to eight hours.

In Indonesian :
Jalan provinsi menuju Samarkilang, Kecamatan Syiah Utama, Bener Meriah, masih berkalang tanah sejak Indonesia merdeka 74 tahun lalu.
