The Reality Of Life.

It is not everything that you desire, you get. The biblical account has this to say of Moses, Gods own messenger. Moses served the Lord with all his life, but his greatest wish to enter the promise land was not granted. It is recorded that he saw the promise land but did not enter.

Some of our desires in life will never be accomplished. This is not a curse of any sort, for the earlier we realise there is an invincible bridge between reality and delusion, the better our understanding of nature.

Despite all our struggles in life, we look around, faced with the ugly fact which has dawned on us that we are yet to achieve our utmost desires. We become frustrated, daunted and lack the will to carry on, it is in such situations we begin to hear empathizing words like be patient, then we be like, why should I, where was patience all those years when I was toiling and working so hard to ensure that I do not have to wait forever

We experience hard and trying times. A young man who has unceasingly worked so hard for a company gets framed up and consequently, sacked. A pretty lady who, despite her good virtues and fidelity, banked on her fiancé to treat and respect her for that but gets her heart broken few weeks to her proposed wedlock.

Also, the career of a footballer who at his peak and prime helped his football club to achieve much enviable success over the years with so much laurels to the clubs name but at the decline of his career, he is shown the exit door in a humiliating manner, not even with a testimonial match to honour his long-service to the club.

Though I acknowledge the painful truth that we humans are emotional beings, the gospel I am preaching today is that of locating that innate strength buried deep down in whatever axis of our hearts and using our archaeological mindset to dig it up like the treasures concealed in the pyramids of Egypt.

History has taught us that a man who does not know his past, is bound to repeat the same mistakes tomorrow. Moreover, you will agree with me that while still being in that sorry-state, such an individual becomes vulnerable for more mistakes to occur. Over the years, we have seen men and women who broke the impasse and carved a niche after they moved on from thier falling state.

In the United States, you must have heard of the preceding failures of its erstwhile president Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican President of the United States and one of the most celebrated personalities worldwide.

In Nigeria we have a similar case in the person of President Muhammadu Buhari, a man whose venture into the political terrain has been dominated with woeful outcomes. My feminine mentor, Winnie Madikizela, later Winnie Mandela, the victim who was victimised.

Get up from that unpleasant place where you are stuck, heave a sigh of relief now, come out from such horrible situation which only you can turn around. Your life becomes refresh and life becomes evergreen and brings nwe tidings. It starts with a step.
