It's good to have puff pastry at home. You can conjure up in a few minutes delicious French cakes with any filling. This time I suggest strawberries with sugar and cinnamon .. they smell and taste wonderful!

If you do not have enough fruit, you can grease the dough with jam or marmalade. During baking, the cakes grow and blush beautifully. It's nice to look!

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Baking time: 20 minutes
Number of servings: 8 large cakes

Ingredients for biscuits

2 slices of puff pastry - 300 g each
200 g strawberries
3 tablespoons of sugar
a flat teaspoon of cinnamon
Glaze ingredients

a flat teaspoon of honey
a flat teaspoon of milk
a pinch of cinnamon

I always recommend ready-made puffs stored in the fridge (not frozen) and those that have real butter. The fresher the cake with a long shelf life, the better. French pastries baked with strawberries, sugar and cinnamon smell and taste in the summer.

How to make French pastries:
Wash the strawberries and remove the stalks. Cut them into small pieces. Add sugar - thick rafinada, and cinnamon. Mix everything.

Firstly remove the puff pastry from the fridge so that it does not break in the folds when unfolding. Spread one rectangular patch on a large wooden board or a small table. Cut it once in half along the long side. Then two longitudinal patches for 4 pieces. Eight rectangles are to be created.

Place an equal portion of fruit filling on each rectangle.

Lay the second piece of puff pastry the same as the first one. Place each rectangle on the ones with fruit input. Use a sharp knife to make four cuts on each biscuit.

Use your fingers to grab the bottom of the cake and roll it up to close each cake. It does not have to be very precise work, because during baking the dough grows and straightens again.

Lay the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake cookies ready for baking with a teaspoon of honey mixed with milk and cinnamon. The best will be a silicone kitchen brush.

Place the form with French cookies in the oven preheated to 190 degrees. Select the middle shelf with the up / down heater. Bake cakes for about 20 minutes.

After baking, slightly open the oven door. After a few minutes, you can take out the cookies. The cooled cookies can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
