Ooops...I just caused a tantric tantrum...
I wasnt sure what my next post would be and a tiny interaction today gave me all I needed
Occasionally I get a tinder hit...
FYI - I am live in thailand after all
Where majority of western men are looking for or will inevitably be seduced by thai women so a curvy independant older western woman is like man repellant here lol
So I don't take tinder very seriously here at all.
Btw I do when I'm back in uk, hell yes
Anyway i digress
So i get a rare match, say good morning
And was instantly offered a tantric massage by a "professional tantric masseur and teacher"....(his profile didn't say anything about this)
Omg really.....
So i replied...no, not really
He replied oh you have problem
So i decided to share my feelings and thoughts
I told him he devalued himself by only defining himself by tantra and his sexual practice.
I told him we were strangers and sex is a sacred and spiritual experience
I told him it was same bullshit wrapped in a sarong and just because he had learnt not to cum didn't mean this wasn't any different from any other guy just looking for sexual contact.
I told him most professionals don't offer their services for free.
He then got annoyed. ..and laughed at me...surprise
So I told him that not being able to take rejection and laughing at another humans feelings showed his lack of spiritual wisdom and humanity,
all fundamental to tantra or any other spiritual practice....
And then he unmatched me...
Oh and I thought we were getting on so well..
ooooops
Seriously though i have no issue with tantra or any other spiritual practice. These are deep ancient traditions full of power and mystery.
However they are increasingly becoming vehicles of pure ego.
Oh we think we are so enlightened, so wise, so pure. And yet most of these spiritual people eat meat, drink, party, argue, swear, lie, are alienated from their family, get angry, addicted to stuff, must have clean bedding and air conditioner....and thats okay, we are humans, but to delude ourselves and try to entice others....naaaah that aint right!! And the chap today, he gives the tradition of tantra a bad reputation
I recently spent time with a thai nun who lives in the forests. We talked about levels of meditation especially the advanced tantric traditions.
In most cases many practitioners havent even mastered observation of the most basic within us, our breathe, simple breathe.
We haven't even begun to master simplest ourselves and our understanding of how to connect with other human beings through wise and thoughtful communication.
Oh and btw I tried to find a better flaccid image but google took me placed I have never bern on internet and have now seen things I can never unsee and i did it all for you...!
Hi! I’m a little late to the party... i wish I would’ve seen this sooner! Funny story! Glad you shared it. Welcome to Steemit!
