Teacher's Summer Camp 2018- Episode VI | Týdny pohybu hrou 2018 - Epizoda VI.

The sixth day of my incredible adventure of being a supervisor at a summer camp is here!

Monday 30/7/2018

A new week is here! New kids and a new schedule. I wanted to have the group no. 6 this week – children around the age of 9. I thought to myself that I’ll do it the same way as last year. First I’ll have the younger ones that require a lot more attention and then the older ones so I can “rest” a bit. But nothing could’ve been further away from what actually happened.

We started today by climbing. As usual, the kids love this 100 %. After that, the next class was arts and crafts and as it is often the case, the slightly older boys from this group don’t really like arts and crafts. They are used to it from school where it is often boring so they just get bored and are naughty. But I do have to show you one present I got from one of the girls that first didn’t know what to do but still managed to create this masterpiece! 🙂

After lunch, we played some board games like cards, foosball, table hockey etc. And the last class were “unusual games” where we played dodgeball, floorball, football. The boys are actually quite skilled in athletic activities so maybe we will get to win a game of brenball for once which we will play on Wednesday.

Další týden je tu! Nové děti, nový rozvrh. Tento týden jsem si chtěla vzít šestou skupinu. Což jsou děti kolem 9 let. Říkala jsem si, že stejně jako minulý rok, od mé třetí skupiny si u šesté odpočinu. Nic bohužel nemohlo být dál pravdě. Tato skupina je daleko zlobivější než ta minulá, tak snad to s nimi nějak celý týden zvládnu.

Dnes jsme měli první hodinu horolezení. Tuto hodinu si jako obvykle všechny děti užijí na 100 %. Po obědě jsme měli hodinu výtvarné výchovy. Jak to tak bývá, kluci se na tuto hodinu nikdy moc netěší. Ze škol jsou zvyklý na to, že je to nebaví, a tak se akorát nudí a zlobí. Ale musím se pochlubit zejména jedním dárečkem, co jsem dostala od jedné holčičky, která stejně jako kluci nevěděla, co dělat a nakonec i bez mé pomoci zvládla toto mistrovské dílo.

Po obědě následovaly společenské hry, kde opět děti hrály různé karty, společenské hry, fotbálek, hokeje apod. A poslední hodinu jsme měli netradiční hry, kdy jsem s dětmi střídala vybíjenou, florbal a fotbal. Mám docela hodně šikovné kluky, tak si myslím, že bych konečně po dlouhé době mohla vyhrát i brenbal, který máme ve středu.
