How to: A bouquet 🌹🌸

in #blog7 years ago

In this post I am going to tell you how to make a bouquet. Enjoy! :)

Before you go start your bouquet think of:

-Choose the right vase, appropriate to the size and height of your bouquet.
-Choose a main color and adjust the other flowers.
-Choose the rest of the flowers and leaf types.
-Make sure you have the right materials (sharp knife, rope, scissors)
-Note texture, by grasses with flowers you get the real field feeling. (for a field bouquet)
-Note the space between the flowers, make sure there are no holes raids

After you did that you can start!

  1. Take care of a clean and flat working surface where you can make the bouquet . A good example is the kitchen table or the kitchen counter. Place all of the flowers on the table so you can work with the flowers easier.

  2. Process the flowers as soon as possible after purchase. Remove the leaves that the stem is half empty ( if you dont do this the leafs will rot in the water) . This keeps the water cleaner and has the bouquet a longer life!. Look how high the bouquet should be and grab the first flowers with the shortest stems. The bouquet will be approximately as long as the shortest stem.

  3. Arrange the flowers in the hand,. Are you left-handed then make a base in your right hand. Take a branch in your hand and cross the flowers. In front of or behind does not matter, all the stems from the flowers have to go in the same diagonal direction. Do not hold your bouquet tight then you can damage the stems. Especially if you have a lot or thick stems processed, you get other trouble with your hands while arranging your bouquet.

  1. Put the flowers in the same way and turn the bouquet the occasional quarter turn. The bouquet should have to be even and round both from above and from all sides . At a field flower bouquet you may use the flowers more playful and wilder process and you can handle the flowers at different heights for a field like look! Please note a good distribution of structure and colour use for a nice balance.

  2. lift the bouquet on and see if it is the same everywhere and beautifully designed and that there are no holes in the bouquet, if necessary fill these spots on with a flower. Tie a rubber band, string or wire to be the center of the stems just above the bind point at your hand. Cut out the bouquet with a pruning scissors in the right length by keeping it next to your vase and then with a sharp knife cut the stems diagonally so that the bouquet are good water on.

  3. If you want to give your bouquet to someone than put your bouquet in a nice paper wrap or plastic . Do you like the flowers themselves put the flowers immediately in lukewarm water, possibly with cut flower food. This keeps the flowers last longer. You can refresh the water regularly making the bouquet fresher and stand longer!
