Quitting your job doesn't mean you're a QUITTER
Maybe there is just something that made you do it -- why'd you click this one? Are you currently battling with quitting or not? Well, I hope this blog will enlighten you or if i don't please you, I hope you find peace in your heart to forgive me for wasting your time. (LOL) Seriously.
You know how it feels when we finally get a job especially if it is your dream job right? But it is a different feeling if you get the feeling of quitting.
You know what's interesting? Try googling "quitting job" and you'll get about 290,000,000 results, how about "what to say when quitting your job?" and you'll get about 35,700,000 results, and lastly, try "how to quit a job" you will get 255, 000,000 results. Each search will give you 10-, 20- or more ways how to do it.
But the real question is -- WHY DO I NEED TO QUIT?
Before deciding , you need to work on pondering on WHY you need to quit your job. Ask yourself a hundred times, thousand times or more.
Why? Why? -- Have you figured it out? Okay, let's proceed.
If you've found out why you need to, how about doing some pros and cons but the best part is asking, "What's best for me?"
When I started asking these questions myself, I ended up with a satisfying answer ever (for me of course).
"Do what's best for you and you're future. Don't waste years of your life stressed out and killing yourself slowly" I prayed and prayed.
There are many ways on how to quit your job though but doing it the right way is important. You have to weigh your ways. You can break it to your boss gently or not. But for me, here are the best questions to ask and quit:
If it makes you angry all the time, then QUIT.
If it makes you cry your heart out 5 to six times a week, QUIT.
If you cry everyday because of it, then QUIT.
If you are starting to get sick especially the ones you never had before because of it, QUIT.
If it makes you think of schemes to ruin your boss, then QUIT.
If you have been asking these things so many times, QUIT.
No, it does not make you a QUITTER. You just value yourself more.
Choose what makes you happy.
Let me give you a timeline
LIFE IS NOT A RACE
You choose what you need to choose. When you are born, your mother and father are the happiest and want what's best for you.
From the age of 20, you start to work after college or even earlier than that. Eventually, you have up to 60 years old working for the people who can't even make you rich and slavering you off. So that's 40 years.
40 years of following orders, stressing yourself and still have the job you have now. You'll even get lucky these days if you reach 60.
So, imagine you're 60 now, did you make the best of your life?
