Hello Steemians,
Welcome back

... One sunny day he was wheeled out into the yard by his mum to receive some fresh air. Instead of sitting down, he threw himself from the chair. He pulled himself across the grass, dragging his legs behind him.

To cut the long story short, through his mother's daily massages, persistency and his resolute determination to walk. He developed the ability to stand up, to walk haltingly, then to walk by himself and finally to run.

He started walking to school, running to school and to run for the sheer joy of running. He later made of the track team in college. This determined young man who was not expected to survive, never expected to walk, who could never hope to run, Dr. Glenn Cunningham, ran the world's fastest miles.

Mary Anne puts it this way, and I quote

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I'll try again tomorrow.
Giving up is easy, it's the most easiest thing in the world to do. Anyone can give up, but to hold it together when everyone else will understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.

Frank Outland said and I quote,

Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; they becomes your destiny.
Therefore, it all starts with thoughts. Character is not given to us, more especially good character. It has to be built gradually by thought, choice, courage and determination.

We have to build ourselves, we really have to!
Bill Clinton, one time American president said and I quote

In the 21st century, the wealth of a Nation will not be measured by what lies beneath it's feet, but by what lies between the ears of it's people.
When all we are after is what lies under us and we fight and kill for that, neglecting and often times not concerned about what we have "upstairs" what we have is a lawless and failing state bereft of courage and character, but saturated with poverty.

Good character will always say I will do the right thing, I don't care if anyone around me is loosing their hands or doing the wrong thing. For the fact that everyone is doing it doesn't make it right. Therefore character is the result of our mental attitude.

It's conspicuous that a large exodus of people more especially the youths are in desperate search for change. But I strongly believe, that which we seek outside is right inside of us. We have to stop the blaming game. Quiting is not an option, not this time.

The church and indeed the world are in desperate need of men and women with integrity of heart and firmness of character with an overwhelming courage that would not stop until the change we desire comes!

Spread good LEADERSHIP CHARACTER not GREED and VIOLENCE. Let's take a stand and fight for the future of our NATIONS!

Thanks for reading through. Until next time I am Dklasic
