I read this post early this morning, before I logged in just a little while ago. As usual you explain all points so clearly. :)
It seems that many people, at least in the US, want to do away with responsibility completely, as though it shouldn't exist nor be attached to a person who chooses to be irresponsible.

Hmmm, I think it's not just the US. Some people are just that way as a result of, well to put it succinctly without giving excuses ... conditionings of the mind. ;)
