Humans not as evil as everyone thinks

I know it has become quite popular now a days to blame humanity for so many bad things, violence, destruction of the natural world, cruelty to animals, etc.

There may be some merit to all of this, but there is also plenty of good that humanity has done.

We are the only species that has figured out how to leave our planet and visited the moon. We are in the process of sending people to other planets again in the near future.

And lets face it, we are still a young species.

True we have caused lots of extinctions, but so did the cyanobacteria, but from the ashes came many new forms of life.

Humans are putting more evolutionary pressure on the planet, but it may not be all bad.
