LGBTQ+ is going too far as a political propoganda
LGBTQ+ is going too far as a political propoganda

As of recent, the LGBTQ+ propaganda has been turning more and more political as days go by. While that's all good as long as it gives the people the right to live freely in their own way, things like these can quickly become toxic to others when they start screaming for so much attention that they no longer remain a movement for freedom and instead turn into trends and propaganda which seek to place themselves above other more important facets of the lives of not only those present inside the community but also those who are not a part of it.
And sadly, that has been the case with the LGBTQ+ propaganda in recent days. The aggressive campaigns are correct in their own place where they protest against the reigning authority for acceptance for the way of life of thousands upon thousands of people. However, it must not come at the cost of the freedom of others. And that is precisely the sad state of affairs nowadays. It has become more of a revolution against the more conventional ways of life instead of being a movement for tolerance.
Live and let live (or let die)

Thinking back upon it, the first time when I was faced by the promotional campaigns of the movement when I was approached by a few Gay folk as I was waiting for my friends in front of a mall. However, that is not the kind of campaigning which I'm talking about. I'm talking about the kind of campaigning currently underway in the USA where more and more people started coming out as Genderqueer folk. While that's all good in itself, I remember finding it to be the latest trend back then as more and more people even started undergoing operations to become transgenders.
Perhaps that was just my view of the world which kept me from accepting the fact that there are so many people who actually want to change their genders. However, soon they released statistics regarding how many transgender folks were committing suicide because of mistreatment. While I believe that the hormone therapy which they undergo has a huge part in all of this as well, the fact of the matter remains that tolerance for all ways of life is necessary as long as it does not get in your way.
As of recent, there are a few celebrities who have been turning transgender out of their own desire. While there may be other motives behind these moves, the simple fact remains that they do play a major role in the tolerance of a wide variety of lifestyles by one simple act. While such messages of tolerance are needed today, what crosses a certain undrawn line is the acts of the political propaganda which disrespects other rules of society as well as people, especially the dead.
Change your sex for an easy win

Above is the picture of Mack Begss, a high school student who decided to change their own sexual identity. She was born as a female but has chosen to turn into a male instead. The above article is about Beggs' second Texas state High School wrestling gold medal in the category of women. While Beggs has stated that he wishes to compete with males, the Texas state laws state that he may only compete as per his birth certificate, which proves him a woman.
The story of Beggs however, is quite different as most athletes willingly change their sex in order to be more proficient at their sport. This usually results in transgender males usually competing against women and winning medals upon medals. The extra boost which they get from their hormone therapy is quite effective in highlighting the difference in the physical capabilities of men and women. And yet they choose to compete against women for an easy victory.
All being said, they're merely a sign that the regulations of these sports authorities must be governed better. We cannot truly begin blaming a specific person or propaganda for this. Problems do exist, yes. However, it is probably not the doing of political propaganda.
Dissing the dead

The above image is the image of Nipsey Hu$$le, a black American rapper who was rather influential. He was also an activist that did a lot to raise the social status of the African-American community in America. All in all, this was one person who was worthy of respect.
However, the LGBTQ+ community, especially the Gay Black people started hating him because of a certain tweet where he talks about his fellow men and the way of his God. His fellow black activists started labeling him as Homophobic until he was finally shot down with six bullets in front of his own store.
That wasn't the end of the road for this man, however, as the LGBTQ+ community, especially gay black folk were still talking smack about the dead Nipsey Hu$$le when he did finally die. Apparently, their pride as a part of the LGBTQ+ community far surpasses honoring the dead, especially one who has done so much for the Black community in America.
However, people deserve to feel the way they do about Hu$$le's death. It's really something that is subjective in nature and while all morality dictates that the dead be honoured, every person does hold the right to talk about things they want to, as they want to. The above picture is from the game franchise named Assassin's Creed. To be specific, this is from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. This one title created quite a lot of controversy with the LGBTQ+ community in specific. It allowed players to have homosexual relationships with NPCs along with heterosexual ones. However, one of the DLC forced the protagonists into Heterosexual relationships with others in order the continue the lineage of Assassins. This apparently upset a lot of people in the LGBTQ+ community as they reportedly found themselves forced into the script of the game.
Ubisoft, being the polite Canadian company it is which caters to all of its audience, apologised for their actions and also promised a solution fixing their error.
While Ubisoft was nice enough to do what it did, the fact remains that they were fictional characters living their own lives, no matter how controlled by Ubisoft. Nobody felt forced into the script when Altair sealed himself off him in a library died for the sake of the Assassin order. Nobody felt forced into the script when Shay Cormac choose the Templar Order over the Assassins. Nobody felt forced into the script of the story when Desmond Miles sacrificed himself for the sake of the world. And nobody found themselves forced into the script when Ezio decided to leave the Assassin Order and start a peaceful life of his own in the countryside of Italy.
However, the LGBTQ+ community somehow feels forced into the script when Kassandra or Alexios, two fictional characters decide to live life as straight people for a change even though they were in the control of the players in the sexually open society of Greece.
Covering the legacy of legends

The picture above is a mural dedicated to the legendary Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. He was the artist responsible for giving life to a lot of songs such as 'Smells like teen spirit,' 'Rape Me,' 'Lithium' and countless others. However, recently, a Graffiti artist who goes by the name of Weirdo painted over this mural with art portraying Gay Pride which is supposed to represent the queer people living in Capitol Hill, Seatle.
“Walls rotate. And if you’ve been in the game long enough, you’ve seen it happen to your own walls," justifies Weirdo. "What we’re doing here, is paying homage to Pride, and all the diversity, and all the actual people who live on Capitol Hill, who are locals."
All things said and done, there were thousands of walls to paint in Capitol Hill. However, the one wall which got painted over was the wall of the great legend Kurt Cobain who ended his life by splattering his brains across the ceiling with a shotgun. If nothing, that just goes to send a message about how the political propaganda behind the LGBTQ+ community is just going too far.
At the end of the day, whom you choose to fuck is nothing of pride. And while being proud of your sexuality and your choices and conducting pride parades is all fine and tolerable, there are some acts which are absolutely unethical including covering the legacy of others, dishonoring the dead, whining when things don't go your way, or even using unfair shortcuts to get the job done for you. Political propaganda is one thing and the life and legacy of people is something which propaganda should never consider approaching.
Hopefully, the LGBTQ+ will come to its senses and slow down before it becomes the next punk revolution across the world, disregarding everything in its path. It is good as far as freedom of life is concerned, but the freedom of those with unconventional sexualities must not come in the way of the rest of the world who have a right to live just as equally free. Alas, the only way to live free is with responsibilities.
